Pretty good game, on your behalf, it would seem. I usually get quite annoyed with people who act like our friend M0neyman here - but as you showed us, the best way to deal with wankers is to pulverise them.
Counters to the Huntress are few and far between, though I do believe that due to undead's amazing zergness in 1.03 (mass ghouls and necros, and you can fill the screen with "zerglings") they have the perfect counter for Huntress - outnumbering them 10-1.
I'd like to see a solid Orc or even Human Strategy for dealing with Huntresses - I understand both prefer mass spellcasters still, but I'm not sold on that idea.
Either way, nice report and I still think the huntress should be slightly nerfed, though I have no idea what should be done.

| Wow. M0neyman displayed most, if not all, of the classic symptoms of arrogant newbiness. E.g. winning early battles, saying lol a lot, making fun of your skill, saying gg before its over, and of course accusing you of hacking him (because he would otherwise be invincible). The part where he says "good game" and then shortly afterwords "do you maphack?", as if the only reason you stood a chance against his inherent skill was to cheat, was pretty classic. Especially since you ended up winning. Err, oh yeah the report-umm 8 or 9. |

With constant creeping a NE player can pump hunts till 70 supply from 2 AOW without any problems. And since there was no rush(you didnt fight till after 7 min) that is what he did. |

Okay a few things, this was an excellent report, i dont really expect less from you. Your text was small as hell, as mentioned by ling, and i strained to read it...on 800x600.
- The game was short and abrupt. You were never really in a perilous state of losing the whole game.
- The text was too crowded with the pics
Now some game tips ;)
- huntresses are fine, no more jokes about them please. Especially if you go mass ghouls, which you did, huntresses are awesome. He shouldve gotten dryads instead of DOTT but he prolly sucks so o well. I feel your pain and i hate his cockiness :D

I'm tempted to post one of my "omg hacker" games, but I played it about two months ago so maybe not. *shrugs* Funny stuff as always, Blarg.
I posted a rep not too long ago as an orc vs ne countering a dude going mass huntresses... berserker bloodlust grunts are surprisingly effective vs hunts, and I was able to hold him off prior to that with a bm + grunts + burrows.
As undead, the best counter is probably skeletons, but you better hope your opponent doesn't have WoNs stocked up... frost nova and carrion swarm are nice too. |

Ghouls forestwalking do just fine against NE. Upgrade your Black Citidal takes care of defense..get banshees and possession.....or gargolys and ghouls.
A dl sleep even if it only last for 1-2 sec is long enough to surround a Ne hero and kill him in under 5 sec.
Not even a level 3 immolation will save the dh. Even when the forestwalking option is gone in 1.04 ghouls with a dk's aura still are great hero killers. |

| Dual aura ghouls most likely means vampriric and unholy auras. Vampiric sucks for ghouls because they do such low damage anyways. As for moneyman, if you read the battlereport, and saw the replay, im pretty sure you would change your opinion of him hacking. i recommend you just stop being arrogant and accept some losses, then learn from em. |

Huntresses can be easily massed again as someone said without expanding.
Dryads wouldn't have helped m0neyman, as dryads can only dispel them one at a time, the scale was at least 10 to 1, 2 m0neyman seems to have horrid micro, as seen by his totally spread out forces where blarg proceeded to take them out one by one.
Dual Aura ghouls can easily own huntresses, since ghouls come much cheaper and faster, but if its a single aura, huntress can almost take them even if its a 2 ghouls to 1 scale |

One of the easiest and most effective anti-huntress strategies for Undead to use is a fast tech to Citadel and Ghoul Frenzy. You can go double crypt as you hit tier 3, until then creep it up to increase your aura(s).
Scrolls of protection are somewhat useful in ghoul/huntress battles, but what really works well is scrolls of healing - provided you use them at opportune times - and they are also very useful on the NE side, so certainly don't turn up to a battle where your opponent has them and you don't.
You will find necros pretty inneffective against a good NE, unless you get them really early and they are careless, or possibly in a 2v2. A single temple to get a few banshees (AMS stops a DH burning your heroes) can be useful however.

Fun report, if a rather lightweight game. I thought the text was fine, I had to use my back button to remind myself what it looked like after all the complaints - I think that's the ideal sort of text to have, one that's not noticed at all. Also 1024x768.
There would appear to be a character limit on comments. Truncation and/or post refusal might be nicer than just letting it drift into the ether, though I'm not sure how easy that is to implement with your code. :) |
