Hey dude, listen here is some constructive criticism:
Humor was fun at first, but when every single line tries to be a joke, it gets anoying and pathetic. Re-read CattleBruiser, it has some amazingly hilarious moments, but upon close inspection most of it is interesting play by play.
Try to have less humor, and just put a lot of time into those moments to make them really funny.
Also add a little more strategic annalysis and a little less detail in banal attacks that don't result in any real effect. eg your discription of the hero rush could have been a lot shorter.
But all in all this isn't bad, continue your reporting,

Personally I thought it was actually quite good for a text only. You could understand what was goin on easily, it wasnt confusing....and I quite liked the humour, but then again Im a dirty teenage male :p

sinch anyway I read a couple paragraphs. If you wanted me to read more do what EMS said. There's potetential there. But your senctences are kind of well...Take this for example.
Deciding to take advantage of his opponents terror Jinhan_Jung follows up his allies horrific chat antics with a Demon Hunter rush against the, allthough he didn't know at the time, still heroless undead.
This would have been great except you added in that although he didn't know at the time right in the middle. Avoid the superflous information next BR. There seemed to be a lot of it. If you felt you really needed to inform us that he *didn't know he had a hero* you should use it as a preface to the sentence giving your main idea. Re-READ your stuff!! Im not saying it was all bad either, some of it had real potential. |

Not bad. It had some funny parts and more that fell flat. The presentation is just a little sloppy -- it could have stood a bit more proofreading and editing. Also it seemed like not much really happened in the game. Yes, newbie games can still be funny, but by now, there are tons of good players that play games worth reporting on. 5.5.

As for the report, there was a lot of unnecessary sexual induendo. "Horny ghouls", "Passionate Lich", "Did 'bad' things to the creeps", "boobage"... it got old fast. Seriously it sounds like you are 12.
Replace the lame "boobie" jokes with well-thought-out humor and this report could have been a little better. Also, pick better subject matter. I don't really like reading about mass hunts + mass hunts vs. towers and ghouls. Boooring. |
