For a first report, this is abso-fucking-amazing. You have a lot of talent, so please write more.
I honestly can't say how well you did in describing the elements of the game (I bought it and played only the Chinese campaign), but I found the summaries of the other races were exactly what you needed to say, nothing more and nothing less. (continued)
Two vs Two's aren't easy to report on, as all the names can be confusing. The minimaps helped A LOT, and the overall picture quality is something you just don't see in someones first report. The writing was solid, the action was very well covered. As I said, this was abso-fucking-amazing.
The only bad thing about this report was the game. The north simply dominated, the South never went on the offensive, and the only good victories the South got (i can't remember the players names any more) involved blunders by the enemy. |

I found like two or three minor, minor errors in the report. That's it.
Oh, and I'm not that good at 'proofreading' -- I degenerate into someone trying to make someone's writing style my own by rewording everything I see. So to answer your question, no.
I tried proofreading a report for ZerG~LinG before, back when his writing was horrible and soul-less, and I found out I was doing a lot of changes I shouldn't have been making... so I didn't proofread. Whoever did it this time did a fine, fine job. |

Wow. Incredible report, esp. for a first timer.
I've always wanted to buy Generals, but my crappy 700mhz won't allow it to run. I really want to hear the GLA shout things like "Okay, okay, I work!" and "All your base are belong to us!", but that's just me. I've played a demo, and as far as I could tell, China is way over powered.

I hate to just follow LN on this one, but it really was amazing for a first time report.
Descriptions in the start was probably what I enjoyed the most, good work there explaining the basics.
Pics where good, sometimes quite spectacular, maily due to terroists ;) Nice use of concept art as well, nice to see something from a different game.
Writing wasn't bad, I found length quite good. Some of the humour fell a little short but can't make everyone happy. Also game was quite one-sided (now theres a cliche), and a bit confusing at times.
Finally, I'm not big on your 10 border (or whatever) tables T.T
And maybe a little more contrast text-wise, found it a bit hard to read.

| Ling, I don't really understand why the 10 border tables should come into it. The only purpose they served was to get the text off the sides of the table around the outside of the whole report. I did it this way so it was easier to edit in notepad as each block of writing is in a table, just my own personal habit from making web pages. It shouldn't even be obvious unless you look at the source coding. |

Good point on the game though, my next report will be on a much better game. Unfortunatly I use the internet connection supplied by the university. It is very cheap but some ports aren't accessable which means I can't play RTS games online. The frustrating thing is that there seems to be very little reason for the restricted ports because I can play Counter-Strike online. =[ I can't play online so I can only report the games played by myself and four other guys. But do not fret, I have found a very good game to report.
Also, Epoch, I can't make the next installment now as I have to finish my exams and then I'm going over to Germany for two weeks. Kickass! |

| Minatour, I use notepad and Adobe Photoshop. You can use any image editing program but photoshop is very powerful. And what exactly are you having problems with? Ling posted a link to a web-site that explains how to upload fully in his last report. Do you not know what to do or is it just not working? |
