I dunno about everyone else, but you had some sloppy code that sorta messed the whole page format up for me. No big deal tho'. Decent pics but nothing fantastic, writing could use some polish, but I got what you had to say. I think it'd be great if you did that other game you were talking about, but just sort of let it flow more, take your time with it. You have a lot of potential.

Instead of criticizing your report I'm going to criticize the gameplaying, which is all but horrible. First off barely anyone got a second hero, which I found surprising. If they did it wasn't really mentioned. For example, had pink gotten a blizzmage, the game would've been over much sooner. Second I found team 2's strats ridiculous. Mountain giants don't dish out "mountains" of damage, in fact they barely dish out any. You never see anyone who goes pure mountain giants. That picture in the middle report of that battle has to be the most mountain giants i have ever seen. 8 of em. How useless. Mountain giants are good damage absorbers, but don't go overboard. Hippo raiders are futile against human players, since dragon hawks not only eliminate them quickly, but prevent them from dealing out damage while they were doing so. (continued...) |

Team 2 should've also had better hero choice. The DH is not a good first hero, maybe in 3v3's, but in general not really great anymore. With the new mercs (like Beastmaster) there should be no need to get him. Plus the warden rocks at level 6+. The Pitlord is a laughable first hero; its okay for a second one with rain of fire, but as a first one its too weak, and has too little mana. I find it pretty sad, no offense, that team 1 was able to beat you !! late game !! with 1 player missing. You should never lose lategame if the opposing team has 1 less player than you, and that player is massing hunts.
The report was pretty good. Better tables as mark said, and make it look nicer. |

I can't believe I got a gold on my first report. That is so cool. Halfway through this game I realized it really wasn't very good, and I sorta lose interest. Plus I had a hell of a time getting in on the page. I'll do the other game, its a lot better.

2nd and 3rd Heroes can be more of a liability than an asset in games bigger than 2v2. With 3v3 or larger sizes of combined armies level 1-2 Heroes can be focused down faster than an egg being hit with a 20-pound sledge. That 425/100 might be better spent on 2-3 extra tier 3 units.
Your prose is above average. (Spelling/Grammar errors aren't bashed in my book, and it had an entertaining touch of 'announcer' feel to it.)
Your humor is average. (Plenty of big grin-level hijinks but only a couple of open chuckles.)
Your graphic presentation is average. (Mussed bgcolor no biggie, but simple borders on the pics would make it look more professional. Search for a report by Duinlas where he uses simple white and grey line borders on black bg for an example.)
And your effort is, as always, of heroic proportions. |

I like the format, with the pictures staying on the sides and the words flowing through the middle. Good writing, but poor game. I understand you are learning all this so that wasn't an insult, just a comment.
If the NE on Team 2 had mostly dryads and a few MG, none of Team 1's direct damage spells would hurt the magic-immune dryads, and all their wonderful buffs (inner fire was everywhere in those pics) would be dispelled. I also would have mixed in a lot of spellbreakers for yellow on Team 2 because of the same reasons.
I say 7.0 is definately fair. |

| Good report, espically for a first-timer. I liked your writing style, your pretty good at keeping game flowing without big cumbersome update screens. I don't know about others, but I was able to keep track of the entire game from your writing, quite the feat in a 3v3. Your pictures were ok, borders would be nice, but not vital in my opinion. Not laugh-out-loud funny, but not dry as the Sahara either. Awesome first report, keep posting! |

it's kinda an ok thing, the pictures need better repositioning, there wasn't much humour, but it is presented like a report (then again if this contained humour my dad would surely ban me from war3, seeing how you guys are making me become a geek myself. I'll leave it to you for the next report to make the above (and above) changes :)
Oh and if you want to know the fate of Brute...he says you random teamers are the ones who are n00bs, just see his RT rerecord. It's 7-9 and solo record 4-1 but that's on Azeroth lol |
