| #1 MikeyMonty[3877] | | | When you go on the attack hotkey some of your key production facilities so you can always crank troops. Also, a few templar wouldn't have hurt had you had the gas, since you already had the tech buildings up. | | #2 rudeboy[3878] | | | umm...why didn't you get any psi storm? | | #3 Blank[3882] | | 4 barracks isn't that unbelievable, he was probably power building.
Yeah, make templar=) hehe
Blank | | #4 ralessi[3885] | | | yeah, infantry rushing protoss is kinda dumb cuz canons/temps/goons/reavers/zealots or any of those kill almost all terran infantry... | | #5 Blank[3889] | | Any Protoss unit can take down M&M
I've seen mass probes take down infantry like nothing.... | | #6 ralessi[3890] | | ...
| | #7 Mind Twist[3893] | | | hehehe ralessi :) It is not the easiest thing in the world to manage a reaver drop and a base. Easiest thing I could think of is put your reavers to say.. #7, with your three gateways on 8, 9, and 0. 7,RRRRRRRRRR,8,Z,9,Z,0,T, then you've got yourself some time to fiddle with the reavers some more. If only it was as easy to do as it sounds :) good report, terrans are best vs toss if they get it from random, cuz toss won't know to go all out DTemps from the beginning, he'll have to see a terran, first. DTemps vs zerg would be BAAADDD, hehe | | #8 Lusted_Marine[3904] | | Thanks for all your critism/ideas, if you ever wanna play a game with me, my name is Lusted_Marine

One of the things to remember about terran infantry is that NOT all protoss units beat it. I'll take 12 marines with stim and 4 medics any day over 6 zealots and a couple of goons. Cannons, storm, reavers do chew them up though, so you can't rely on infantry unless you are Heartcutter or playing against the zerg.
Lurkers? They outrange turrets right? If your attack force is mobile and can fall back when lurkers burrow, and then fall back to a turret, it's really tough for him to get exactly the right placement. You can also comstat his main and drop 6 marines + 2 medics on the outskirts and make him move his lurkers to protect his outer buildings. When he does, kill one, get back in the shuttle, and move again. Oh well... I'm rambling about the glories of terran infantry and not making any valid points.
Good report though. |
