| Christ, I read this six hours ago and still I am the first one to comment on the report. First of all, the game wasn't interesting at all, or you simply wrote it horribly. Second of all, even if it is an "apetizer", don't ever, ever, ever report on BGH games, ever (I learned from personal experience). And your pictures did not come out either, so I was bored throughout most the report. The writing style was even worse than my CbK writing, but continue submitting, we need more battlereports. If you improve your writing and html skills, you should do here ;). |

Some parts were hard to follow, the time based item was good - but you need to look at having several versions, like movies. I think you just need some distance & a second reader before you release to the website. That 2nd view & a day or two after writing the report will help you realize where to make cuts.
When I do the after action reports & monthly updates for my crew, I usually spend a couple hours on writing the one email outlining details. Then spend an hour & half an hour chopping out the extra parts that I want - but know will detract from the message that needs to be delivered.
Then again we have three squads of eight men who need critiques on the individual relationship to the squad level, followed by the relationship between the squads. |

It was ok. I didn't get to see the pics because I'm on a shitty comp right now, so this will just critique the br itself.
Not only is BGH a bad map idea for a BR, any "money" map is. This is because the skill of holding multiple bases isn't neccesary since you can just sit in your hunkered down, heavily defended main, and just slowly tech to your uber units (24 carriers come to mind) without have to actually go to another patch of minerals or geyser.
White and yellow have not and never will go together in a BR.
Work on transition, and personally, I think the constantly time updating is something to leave out from now on. Once in a while its ok, like to say that the horrible Zerg player didn't beging morphing a lair until 15 minutes in, but don't overdo it.
All in all, not bad, keep submitting, and I give it a 5.5. |

Use colors only for names, not for other stuff. It is confusing to have (seemingly random) words colored. Aspecially in yellow on white background.
If you want to improove your writing style, analyze what is happening more instead of just saying who won and what was killed. Did the Zerg try to flank you for example? And what would have happened if he did...that sort of thing |

| The bg stuffed up and I forgot to change some things (damned broken fileread). Also it was called an Appetizer because it was the lamest game I've ever played! There was no strategy involved in the 1st. The 2nd battle was better but nothing great. I wasn't playing on B.net (some server I discovered in a forum) but most other BRs I will write will be on B.net. Read the other one I posted as well! Also I need to find someone who posts on this site to 2nd view and help (all people I know haven't heard of this site). :( |
