Um, to me this seemed like a ripoff of some earlier reports ( by Drefsab and some others ), but without the pictures and lacking innovative humour, not to mention a satisfactory result.

Rater party again. Sounded like an entertainingly small game, maybe something fit for a "prelude" to another br, but not enough by itself. Pictures would have definitely helped it along.
Not that there's anything wrong with taking over where Drefsab left off, but Dref did it so much better. Often imitated, never repeated? Don't let this get you down from making more to the series, just make them better (install BW! op ~nohunters gogogo).

Get in nohunters, or some other channel, and observe better players. Write about them instead. Even pros will do. |

The reason that Drefsab's reports on this were succesfull was because he was such a unique writer. He had humor, strategy and a compelling style. Heck, he WAS style.
So unless you know you can pull that kind of thing off, don't try. Focus more on conventional battlereports, those are easier to do well.

I got about halfway in, then gave up :/. Let me say this in case you didn't read my comment on your last report, "YOU HAVE PO-TEN-TI-AL!" Good potential, I believe. But, this isn't where it's at. To do something like this you need a huge flamboyant style to go with the huge flamboyant game and you just don't seem to have it.
Never fear! It took me 5 reports to figure out that I have my own style and couldn't copy off of others. I suggest, that you look for gosu replays to watch and report on. If you need help I'll be glad to find some for you.
Once you have a game, just leech a little here and a little there off of people who you like to read and you will eventually feel out your own style, and should have fun doing so. Hope that helps. |

Yeah, what everyone else said, get some pics, a better game. I myself prefer someone reports someone of nearly equal skill, because sometimes people of low skill will entirely misinterpret the actions of those of greater skill.
So just get in and play a little bit on legit maps, get a little better, and then report a decent game you played, or someone you know played. |

| Frankly, just because you suck at StarCraft, its no reason to post crap. Find good replays of professionals. On top of that, then you can put together a backround for each player to give the viewers a description of who they are looking at. I suck at StarCraft, its no big deal.
