Awesome! Much, much, MUCH better than your last one. Your writing was excellent and I giggled at the gnome scene -- good ol' gnomes.
Now, I wouldn't be myself if I didn't find something to whine about and the only thing I did find in your writing was this: you lacked explanations for what you did, most of the time. An experienced Majesty player of course knows why, but most of the laymen around here won't. For example: Why did you pick gnomes over dwarves this time? I know, because I suggested it in your last comments section, but I don't know if others do. Same with getting Barbarians, although you did have a good explanation for the importance of a Ranger's guild.
What I would suggest to you is adding a sort of "Majesty Strategy" (it even ryhmes) part to these. A little table, if you will, where you explain why you chose to do this instead of that and what your thoughts were and why these units are good vs these units and what the hell makes a rock giant so special anyway? =]
Your images were very nice, too. Clean borders, and the caption text underneath gave it a feeling of professionalism that was missing in your last report. I can't find any faults here.
The hard coding was good too, despite the odd white borders at the top. Dunno where those came from. Apart from that, it was solid and easy to read. Good stuff.
In other words, this is a fun, fun report and is a big improvement on your last one. A bit more detail in your writing and perhaps a longer game to satisfy my tastes would be nice, but the difficulty was good.
Much improved.

Finally someone who writes Majesty. That slutty game cheated on me....I thought I was the only one in her life.
Nice report, Turbo. |

This was good. Alot of it I didn't understand(all of the stuff that EE mentioned - I don't play Majesty). I also didn't know what was different with the Vampires from the provious report and the minotaurs in this one. Also, is the terrain randomly generated? If not, I would like a map explaination :) Also, what were the Sorceror's legacy? Most of the fighting you did seemed to be with the minotaurs. Were they just random wandering creatures, or were they part of the enemy force? Also, why did sewers start popping up in this game, and not last game? At first I assumed that you were a different race, and that different races had different "penalty" structures, when when the Graveyard appeard in addition to the sewers, I was fairly confused. :(
I still liked it better than the last report, for some reason, even though the last was more detailed. |

Also, the difference between vampires and minotaurs is vampires are physically weak monsters, but cast life drain which restores their health while hurting a hero's. Minotaurs are very health and
heavy hitting monsters that have no special abilities but almost always attack in parties of 4-6 minotaurs. |

| Nah, someone shouldn't have to go to an external site to learn about it. I mean, heck, you can write a better description than the Majesty site and it makes sense in context, too. |

Pictures were very good.
Personally I thought this was a bit of a walk-over for you, maybe a harder longer game where you get attacks by 3 rock giants and manage to fight it off with only gnomes and towers :) Or something special, magical.
Very confused about what was good and not. I mean if its a new unit like tauren put a mouse over or a small paragraph under it explaining what it is and its habits Eg: The tauren are physically strong creatures that don't have any special abilites, however since they attack in packs of 4-6 they can be a serious threat. The enemy usually sends them again you early game and if you spend too much on tech an early tauren attack can end the game for you.
*replace tauren with minotaurs.

This report was an improvement over the last one but I didn't feel very drawn into the game itself. Or rather the ending was somewhat disappointing. You went from rock giant smashing your base to easy victory by frenzied heroes.
The variety of units was good as well as the usage of higher level spells. This report was better written than the previous one and the pics were improved as well. The action was much clearer and your strategy was nicely explained.
What I get from your reports though is that at first you struggle to survive against the powerful monsters that roam the game map. As time progresses though the variety of heroes goes up and the existing ones get more powerful but the enemies do not? The spawn rate increases and the graveyards/sewers are an annoyance but once the units get strong enough its just a clean up of the spawn buildings and roaming units. Perhaps its just that you summarized the ending too much.
This report was an improvement over the last one but it was a bit short. I'll say its a 7. |

WGD is soundly seconded.
Interesting game, but not exploited enough. Usually a report on a new game will get you giddy enough that you want to buy it. Think EE's Nova br's.
Much potential here, but as is, this barely did a chin up above the gold standard bar. Writing was nice (dotted with jokes and spelling mistakes), but didn't especially carry it along like Decays's report.
Have a seven with dead minotaurs for dinner! :) |

This is another good one! Exellent humor, you cut down on your (truck goes by) ing, Good, good. These are my fave parts:
_________________________________________________
But if I just started trying to build two warrior's guilds with only two peasents, they would be about finished by the time the minotaurs are discussing pike sizes for my head.
________________________________________________
Blessed with the gold of a defeated siege and no reinforcements to spend it on, I decided to use 800 to move the ranger's guild into the ring formation. Yet sadly, giddy with joy from the last battle, a ranger wandered too far into the wilderness and was eaten by an evil oculus, sending the "days without accident" poster straight back to 0.
_______________________________________________
That wouldn't be enough to make a final push, so I needed to wait afew days for some more gold to generate and some caravans to come in. The caravans never came, because a hulking rock giant began throwing a hissy fit all over the map.
____________________________________________
Ooh, man this is good. Why don't you do something funny like, say, four warriors and two rangers die to a rock giant and then a healer stabs him and he dies. Pffbbt, like that'll ever happen. See you in the throne room, your majesty! |

Hiyaz, it's RabidMurloc again. (wipes foam off mouth) Hey, I'm RABIDMurloc, remember? (writes "get rabies shot" on to do list) I just wanted to ask wheather you can find Majesty in any store, or do you have to get it on the site? I just ask because I have a tendency to go insane when I order stuff. Last summer i ordered MechWarrior 4: Vengance from Amazon.com, and I WENT NUTZ! It only took four days for the game to get there, but it seemed like four years. I was going an archeology camp at the time (extremly gosu) and we were digging in a dirt patch under the sun for three hours straight, and that just made the days seem longer. On the fourth day it came and I charged up to the computer, jammed the disk into the drive, installed the game- and it didn't work. We called the service people and Mom had this half-hour conversation with the tech guy and it turned out the graphinncs eingine was set one click off the right setting! I didn't stop laughing in my head for three days. Anyway, can you get Majesty at any store? I got a 100-dollat gift card for CompUSA for my birthday, and I still have 33 bucks left on it....
P.S. Are you planning on doing any more Majesty reports? Because I thought these two rocked. |

| Majesty is purchasable most easily online, but I think there are some double-gift bargain purchases for you. Majesty 2 is coming out anyways so you might just want to wait for that. It's called Majesty Legends I think. |

Thanx T_N. I'm not waiting for Majesty 2, and besides, I have World of Warcraft to obsess over now. Both of them are on my Christmas list anyway.
