I really enjoyed the majority of this report (the exception being the three page introduction), and I felt you did a pretty good job with the second game. I thought for a moment that you forgot to include the part where Misclick killed twelve marines with irradiate, but I was happy to see it safely nestled amongst some battle description paragraphs. Nice job all around.
As for me, I guess it's back to reporting korean replays no one's ever seen before :P. |

Ah, I thought there had to come some quality report from that tournament. Next time let's not match me with the winner in first round, mmmyesss?
My major qualms with this report was a lack of minimaps (especially when the game begins - CLEARLY display where is who and with which race) it helps setting up a clear mental image in the reader's mind for the rest of the report.
Was the introduction too long? Well, I think badme's fencing br's were shorter than that introduction, to be frank. I fall victim to this myself sometimes - you just gotta remember what's important, and not retell your life story for the past 3 months.
More focus on those 14 marines killed by misclicks own irradiate please :D
The only other thing I have is with the writing in general, as it sometimes has a lot of text that really doesn't say much. I know I definetly have this problem myself, trying to "write my ass off" with all kinds of long drawn jokes and funny ideas. Try saying no to these ideas right off the bat - shorter, tightly packed report with pure goodness is better than long drawn out.
I've wondered why CB's reports always seen so smooth and wellwritten, and I think it's because he rarely goes off on long linguistic adventures (such as that one?).
As example, the Super Goon whatever. I'm not entirely sure if they're a good idea. In a way they break the rhythm of the report, and without being hilariously entertaining, they just kinda go off into nowhere.
I think the hardest thing might be trying to say no to all these neat ideas we get, and try to focus on the task and let amusing things and funny tie-ins come more naturally.

I thought this was a great report, though I agree that you should have made more fun of misclick for killing his own marines.
My favorite line:

Anyhow, it was great, though you should have mentioned that Misclicks oppenent in the finals tried to 6 pool ling rush him on an island map. You could have mentioned that in the post game commentary. That was histerical to be obsing that game.

| They made medics to make early terran units good, but in doing so over powered them against zerg. Notice how little changes they mad to the zerg, they made them weaker, 200 pools, 100 less hp sunkens. Sunkens are the only early zerg defense. Lings just don't do it. They should reduce the cost by 25 is what I say. Marines>sunkens Zealots>sunkens tanks>sunkens. Why do sunkens have explosive attack? |
