My theory about Edritch´s X-Com Squad is that it died horribly to some nasty cryssalids or friendly fire from Ethereal-controlled soldiers, at least that was what happened me ><, took me some save and load to be able to win one of the alien bases...with mass ethereals which love to mind control my best shooters from the other side of the map and turn them into soldier ripping machines.
Managed to win the game some weeks ago tho, great game and an pretty neat ending as well.
You have my permission to load the game if I die on some mission xD
Now serious, nice br, wasn´t made with Ling´s "hell standarts" and still looked nice, the text was pretty good too, having in account the game is pretty mindless.

| Heh, I just managed to lose the game on the homestreach.. at the end of the first part of the final mission, I bunched half the squad up after coming out of the elevator. Boom, half the squad dies, and the other half panics. Game over. |

| You auto-lose if you lose the final mission? Made it through the first time (careful play and spread around troops pwn :D), also got pretty lucky with finding the alien brain soon after the descent tho :) |
