haha, really picked up steam for me near the end. Probably started paying more attention, I guess.
Was a nice "guide", and the added comedic value of it made it pretty enjoyable.
I'm giving it an eight because it was presented well and enjoyable, but it lacked "oomph". Which, I grant you, is really hard to have with a strategy guide...even one with a warped comedic twist to it. |

Hm.
I hate to be a stick-in-the-mud but this really didn't work for me. I could see where the jokes were and everything, and fully grasp that there was humor, but...well, I didn't laugh. I'm not entirely sure what the problem was for me in terms of humor, and it appears I'm in the minority on this, so it may just be because I'm a grouchy fucker or something.
Also, guides - even humor-filled ones - are kind of dull. I don't think that I could sincerely rate a guide any higher than a 7 unless it was based around a report - that is, strategic analysis of games leading up to a lesson, even if it's not serious in the slightest. Actually, I think that a non-serious guide is a little more dull; it hinges entirely on me enjoying the humor.
I think what got me through it was how well it flowed. The writing was superb, and it kept me engaged enough to make it to the end, even though I wasn't really enticed by what it said.
I'm not really sure whether I think this is a low gold or a high silver right now. I'll rate after I delibrate some. |

| I was thinking optimum efficiency, instead of massing a bunch of cannons would be to build an observer or two along with some of that diversified force you mentioned, instead of wasting it on cannons. I think you have all the tools to be a really excellent writer/battle reporter someday. |

Wow! I can't believe this piece of garbage received anything higher than a 2. I realize that this was supposed to be a joke, but it just plain wasn't funny. The writing was crap (and I say that knowing full well that all of the other people, who have commented here, are fawning over it), the "strategy" was stupid - both on a serious note and when it comes to humor - and the images were useless.
It's trash like this that has brought this site down from what it once was to what it has become now. Admins, do us all a favor and just plain delete this "report" and the associated news item from this site post haste. |

You need to learn the distinction between fact and opinion. Just because some people didn't like something doesn't mean everyone feels the same way.

good short report, you clearly put in enough effor to make your pictures look nice and to not leave us with a slew of spelling/grammatical errors. unfortunately, i've come to the conclusion that every single person on this planet has a vast knowledge of how to play Starcraft decently well, including newborns who are implanted with the knowledge upon birth. as such, a starcraft strategy report isn't exactly the most necessary gem in the rough. next time, pick a game that none of us have even heard of, then you'll be golden (literally).
definitely not worth all the ridiculously harsh words, though. why would you even bother to trash a report with no apparent reason? did the CSS kill your father and rape your mother? i didn't think so. get real, twelve year olds |

| Thanks for wasting time. Seriously I'm not sure whether that was a complete joke or if it was meant to help. Either way it fails horribly. The jokes werent funny... Ive laughed harder at paint drying... the strategy was horrible... I mean seriously the part about getting ac first thing??? you do realise that in all official games, as in non-ums, it automatically sets the chat to ac? not only but you talk about wasted time yet setting it to ac before you send your peons to mine is the biggest waste of time... and the part about static defense was stupid. teaching noobs to do a fastest style defense as showed in your pic isnt funny... its mean... also you say that the blue terran was a good example of good macro??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? that piece of shit had 1000 minerals and barely any units... not only but 4 baracks in a tvp??? also when you show a terran with a "variety of units" defending against the zlots you were also showing a terran getting pwnt... and he had a ghost... |
