went through it one last time for after-posting proof reading. uploading html files is so forgiving to premature posters like me :D |

This was a fun read. These types of games are very reportable, as you mentioned. This kind of game reminds me of Exile (see Decay's reports about it). A couple things:
- my only complaint about the HTML is the margin between images and text. Just add 10 pixels or so on every image and you're good to go, makes it much easier to read. Otherwise it was simple and clean.
- I think one thing that may have made the report more interesting is more attachment to your characters. Again, you should take a look at Decay's Exile reports to see what I mean. It gives you quite a few more opportunities for humor or emotion in general if you give us something like Shaniqua the smack talking hairdresser who is a Ranger in her spare time, instead of just Ranger B. This is just a suggestion of course, as there are many more ways to make a report interesting. Following in Decay's footsteps is a good way to land in the drunk tank for a night, wondering where your bicuspids went.
- Your strength in this report is in the details. A lot of reports on these D&D types of games will gloss over the gritty specifics such as damage bonuses, but I was always aware of exact spell usefulness and weapon/armor enhancements. I didn't really see any instances where you went into too much detail.
- The ending was probably the most disappointing part of the report(s). I know that it was sudden in the game, but it felt like you just left it hanging. What would you have done differently? Will you try again? Something else that I was fuzzy on was the overall goal of the game. Is there a definite end or is it in true flash game nature where you play until you get a high score?
I really wanted to give you a 9 for being a consistent reporter and trying to end the drought, but I felt that it was a bit too dry to warrant that rating. Overall I'd give it an 8.5 or something higher, so hopefully another reporter feels it worthy of a 9 and balances out the ratings. If you do decide to do another report on this game, which I would suggest since it lends itself to reporting, I'd just work on making it a bit more exciting and work on pulling the readers in. |

| Since these reports were released so close to each other and are essentially on the same "game," I decided to rate them as one report. Let me know if you'd like me to rate them individually and I'll rate the first part as well. |

the technical critics will be noted. guess i could have elaborated more on the final battle, but that's just how the writing was going when the party up and died on me.
i know that there's a lot i didn't cover. the mage, rogue, barbarian, and conjurer classes were left out of this game, plus special random events that i was hoping to run into but didn't. still, a large chunk of the game is learning about the enemy races and by the time that my party died i had already clashed with all five of them.
these two reports took a lot of hours to write since i was explaining the game as i went along. if i do make another report it'll probably be focused on items with very little said about generic enemy groups. |

Ouch, rough ending. That Undead race seemed to have lured you into a false sense of security.
Nice reports though. |
