Godd Battle report.
The drop was the killer here.
Like I said before. The Lurker rush isnt whats really hard to defend. Its what comes next. Maybe its inbalanced. Who knows. |

short, sweet and to the point....
Query: What can a zerg v. terran do BESIDES lurkering on temple??
Turbo xpand, sunken in the choke, hold your own cliff vs. a tank drop, keep expanding & power / defiler your way through him?
what do you guys think?? any brilliant ideas?

Great BR, I think ghost knew what you did with the zerglings since you added in your comment on that you hid them carefully, so Ghost knew what to do.
You know I think it is possible for the comp. to do any type of strat. If there is a smart enough person he/she can use the AI editor that Camelot has and prob. make a AI script for early zerg lurkers. Just a thought.

heheheh, thanks BikeTurtle=) Your my hero=P heheheheh
Fractal wave: Lurkers=( Any way you go, I find a good M&M will slaughter you unless you gut NUTS with sunkens. I usually don't go for a straight lurker rush (I double hatch first), just so the game might actually be fun=P But without lurkers, Terran infantry owns=P I guess you could power out of 3 hatch's with mass Hydra's, I've seen that work, but it's really bloody....
Guardians, Ensare, Queens (in general), and Ultra's also help, but all those are pretty late game. Oh well...

| ehheheheheee, i might ask for schizo's guidance in using zerg, im sux 8( btw 1999 how come u never do 6 pack against me ? |

Elm, your zerg start (I'm not exactly saying what it is cause I think its a little better then the lurker rush, and I do it myself) concerns expanding first then going hard hydras. Well the one barracks limits my production and the mass hydras quickly overwelms me. Thus this build is not countered by the six pack very good. Althought I think an offensive bunker would hurt you bad if properly placed.
And Elm, don't ask for help using zerg you beat on my ass good enough with them so far. |

| Nice Report. I still say the 6 pack is too risky. In my experience 2 marines in a bunker at your ramp will stop the 6 lings, and later on you'll have a turret and tank there to defend the lurkers. Thing about the lurker rush is the "threat" of it always being there. I played this crappy zerg player that just made 2 hatch lings, I thought he might lurker rush so I went for the 6 pack to quickly kill him. Of course he ran me over like a dog. Anyway that was on Proving Grounds which is a horrible map for terran. So hard to defend. |

hmm... I've seen much mention of the Schizo standard lurker rush, never actually seen specifics. I play zerg but don't use lurks much. Then again, I generally play 3v3 :P and if I have a zerg ally s/he goes lurks.
zvt on temple... zvt on temple... Hrm. Anyone ever try fast dropping? |
