| I meant construct the bunker (turret later) at the top of his ramp? He may have been forced to spend more on cannons to push you out. I could be completely wrong though. |

hehe, that wasn't all i just had to break up my comments to help whoop out. Lt is such a terran map. i played this "newbie" who only made hydras, he did amass about 4k of the damn things but nevr upgraded them. terran infantry = god squad and whoop rox. and there are sooo many cool things you can do to someone with tanks on LT. 3 gas blasting, turbo newbieing, and that cool little spot inbetween 9 and 6 ooh i luv it. tanks are fun.

| Jazzy I didnt have the economy to afford a bunker believe it or not. Also never bunker at the top of the ramp. 12 goons can almost kill your bunker in 1 volley. Better to bunker at the BOTTOM of the ramp so they have to attack 1 at a time or move into position while you get free hits. Anyways since I cheeze rushed my economy was in shambles. On a sad note, this is the first time I didnt get a 7+. Although it wasn't a great report I figured Terran beating a good toss was worth at least +3 points. O well |

| HunterD, Turbo Newbie is when a terran player unloads one tank, 3 rines and an scv onto the ridge above an enemy base. The scv builds a bunker, then a turret, the rines hop into the bunker, the tank seiges up and presto!, you've got a nasty little peon-killer that's awful hard to get rid of. There are lots of variations (2 tanks, 6 marines, an scv and a medic is my favorite), but that's the basic setup. Just a special way of telling your opponent hi. Btw, I think Heartcutter's the one who came up with the term "Turbo newbie." |

| Ahs, it's NOT Heartcutter who started the term turbo newbie. It's originated from GX's EZ strat section, which I used to say a lot, and suddenly the term became familiar to everyone because it sounds funny. Of course there were some dummies who never understood the term (even we tell them what it means) and thought we were calling him newbie, but it's just funny hearing their retort. =) |

Ya I tend to get a little heated when playing a game I really want to win. Damn thats funny. The game JSH was referring to was a game that took over an hour on Winter Conquest where just about the entire map was mined out. Wow it was a doozy. We won it. Also Vegas that game we lost was soooo sooo my fault although you shoulda made a bunker :D
