You'll never defeat my record number of losses where I actually destroyed my opponents main base, and then proceded to lose the game. One of the most memeorable was on dire straights. Apparently he was massing scouts in a corner, and I thought he was un succesfully trying to produce carriers. The only reason I didn't win because I'm such a dumbass not to go look in corners just for the heck of it.
MAybe a maphack would help. (j/k)
I just got off a game similar to this thow, unfortunately lesser skilled players we're involved. (marginally) I was mistaken for the observer at one point when all I had was a floating CC. BTW, I started the game with a nexus and 4 probes (I ended to game by losing my standing force of 1 marine and 45 scvs (I took over all the rest of the islands, just because I could.
Anyway that was irrelevent. I think I'll make that my trademark, irrelevent posts. (I did that on the GX fourms for a while, then they removed the cabability to have HTML in your name..dunno why, it was cool to have the Blizzard tag in your name.) |

I have a couple comments:
o I usually have my .357 handy. It wasn't just cuz I watched the Blair Witch Project.
o I foolishly sent most of my forces to the choke with the cannons to "contain" pitt. If I kept even one dtemp back I would not have lost my main.
o The one dtemp I produced at my main ran in circles around the group of marines like he was on crack for no apparent reason, instead of swinging his warp blade. I felt robbed =[.
o I killed the second dropship at my main with goons before it really unloaded. I kept producing troops to try and save my main, but you need 6 goons to really fight M+Ms. Otherwise they heal too fast to die cost effectively.
o When Pitt went for my cannons, I microed my cannons to attack marines without dmatrix. Yes, it's a bad sign, but you can micro cannons.
o When I attacked his main I microed to kill non dmatrix marines.
o I never give up. Neither did pitt. The favorite thing all game: after I took his main with my goon horde "Don't worry, you can come back from losing your main. At least I can =]" |

Sweet BR. You really do have a great writing style Dev. There's nothing worse than losing after taking out someones main (I can tell you all about that.) Though on the flip side it's sweet to take out someone who thought they had you in the palm of there hand *omnious chuckle*.
~On a side note, this is a truly sweet site, I don't think anyone can argue that. In the spirit of showing our appreciation why doesn't everyone click on the advertisement banners on occasion and make these boys some money. |

The most hilarious game was against Tiamatic, with me Zerg vs his Terran. I had him contained, and had 4 xpansions, but still managed to keep my attacking groups small enough to do no damage and finally lose the game... |

Rationale: Deon's been working hard. I respect that. From now on vs Protoss, he gets wheels.

My first real scout is Deon on his vulture. Depending on what he sees, is how I react:
1: Mass goons / Mass Tanks + Vults
2: Reaver Drop / Early wraith
3: Zealots / Vultures + Wraiths
4: DT / Speedy vultures + Mines + Wraith, Turreting up the base.
5: Teching to carriers / Mass wraiths + Drop + Wraith Cloak
This has worked so far vs #2 and #4. |

Hyperdeon works. But Heavy Metal Terran is HyperDeon 2.0. I've refined it down quite a bit, and it gives Protoss serious problems. See Sho Kosugi's recent report for details (her hunters one). Mark4 and I were banging on it TvP, and I'm very satisfied with the results. |

| I think it might become the "lurker rush" of the toss vrs terran match up. The one strat that forces a toss player to play a certain way. Too bad I haven't figured out a counter yet =p. We do need to play some more games with that though. I have a few things I'd like to test against you. And no, they don't involve proximal gate zealot rushes =] |

| Hmmm...fast vultures huh? Are they really that effective against zealots? They only do half damage, and I don't know if they do splash or not. But then, I guess their speed/hps makes up for this. Zealots are Light armor, Medium Size. Concussion(Ghosts, vults, bats, etc.) do damage based on Armor, which Explosive(Tanks, Hydras, etc.) Do damage by size(I think). Supposedly. 6 Goons>50 Wraiths.
