| You guys are such unbelievers. I think that it was Maynard. I mean, who would build 60 zealots without an air unit? It's so obvious to me that this guy is obviously superior to everyone because he lost to Maynard...follow my logic here? |
| #14 Dev (209-239-221-27.stk.jps.net)[9096] |

This may sound silly...
But in my humble opinion, the ability to make 60 zealots really fast and send them in to attack does not make one 'good'. ANYONE can learn that, given time. It merely makes you successful.
In my opinion, the best starcraft players are those with the most adaptable tactics and the ones who pull the coolest tricks. Unfortunately, that involves the forbidden art of micromanagement when you COULD be pumping dragoons from fifteen gateways.
Hard macro and mono-unit wave attakcs, and mindless rushing might win you games... but where's the fun? I'd rather lose a long, hard fought micro game with small unit groups than win a ten-minute mass dragoon wave game.
Silly me. |
| #15 Dev (209-239-221-27.stk.jps.net)[9097] |
|
Oh, one more thing. Aside from harassment attacks aimed at shutting down the economy (worker killing) or surgical attacks with a single objective (taking out the greater spire/science facility/robotics support), one rule holds true.
If you need a second wave to attack because your first attack didn't burn the base down, you did it wrong. (: |

I think anyone who took this report at face value needs to step outside and gulp some air. :>

| And btw... mono-waving units only wins you games against the inept. Even I can push back a goon mob with a bit of micro, and if I can do it then... well... I dunno. Someone fill in the blank. |
