Lifetime Rating for kakaru_man: 3.2500 |  | Once again, i am here with another story of how to kill your friends in starcraft. And, as always, my partner was the ever-lovable Tub_Thumper. We fought the same people, and it turned out almost the same way, but let me tell you how it all happened.
I went random and got protoss. Tub chose zerg. DarthMaul. went random and got toss, and so did his ally ThomasWorley. There was also another, who was going to be on my opponent's side, but i guess he is just intimidated.
Tub and I decide that we must rush someone out if we are goin to fight them well. Maul has been out of it lately, so we decide to rush out ThomasWorley. Well, i don't, but Tub pulls a 6-ling rush. Thomas did something stupid and decided to wall in. :) I like that. Tub killed all of his photons, and still had 4 lings left. Then i bring in a "clean-up" crew of 4 zealots. At this moment is when i decide to go to heavy air(not carriers, but corsairs and scouts).
Im not paying much attention to what my ally does, but i know he can handle things on his own. i make 3 stargates, and start pumpin the corsairs and scouts. Then i go to a fleet beacon. now, thomas has a pylon or 2 in Maul's base. Tub walks an overlord right past Maul's photons, all the way to the back of his base. WHAT'S THIS??? 4 STARGATES, A FLEET BEACON, AND ONLY 1 STARGATE FLASHING??? I THINK SOMEONE IS GOIN TO CARRIERS...how fun to kill.
i instantly start making a lot more scouts, then, all of a sudden thomas lags out. WHOOP-DEE-DOO!!! he was out of the game already. oh well, so what right? Then, again i see the drop players screen...5...4...3...2...1...DROP! OH NO! MY CONNECTION TO BATTLE.NET HAS BEEN LOST!!! it didnt matter anyway, we would have won really bad.
needless to say, thomas is really pissed at tub and i, maul could care less because it was thomas' bright idea to wall in and go straight to carriers. in this case, he deserved to get rushed out. we all had to end task because something got really messed up.
Oh! and dont worry. there WILL be a rematch, and i will report it, along with pics, this time.
SO, as you can see, your friends will always hate you thanks to the killinest place on the internet...BATTLE.NET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
