great report

SOS vs TKOD

Its was late and I (Flanker-{TKOD} ) and my fellow clanmember Martinez-{TKOD} were searching for a game, when we were asked to play by ~SOS~Meagol and "SOS"Deathtrap, members of the SOS-clan. We said yes and the battle begun. The battleground was temple.
I would give you a mini-map display of lost temple, but I'm sure most of you know it and anyway, I'm way to lazy to get a pic in my report.

Battle 1

I started on the 6 o'clock position and Martinez on the 3 o'clock position. We randomed and got both zerg. We knew that one of our opponents was terran, so we sent out some zerglings to do some recon. It appeared that Deathtrap was zerg and has spawned at the 9 o'clock position. We decided we were going to rush the terran and we sent 8 lings each to his main. Some marines, a bunker under construction, and also a factory who was almost ready is all whet we saw when we entered Meagol's base. Our lings tore every-thing apart and he lifted up his barracks and his command center. His CC flew to the top-left island, his barracks into the dark fog of war. A lord was sent to the top-left island to see what he was up to. He was pumping SCV's and we both tought that he was out of the game. Then, suddenly, Martinez heard the dreadfull words:"The hive cluster is under attack". Deathtrap has sent 12+ lings to attack his main. He only had 1 sunken up and our lings speeded their way home. We were capable to eliminate the attackers, but he had lost his pool, and only had a hydralist den (who was badly damaged). I sent over some drones and started making some sukens.
He just kept sending lings, wave after wave. Martinez sent his lord who was hovering above the CC of Meagol to see or Deathtrap has expanded. When it arrived there, it saw 4 barracks. Yes, it appeared that our friend Meagol has managed to sneak out an SCV before his base was reduced to a pile of metal. Scaring a bit , we did saw that there was no factory is sight. So no tanks for now. We realised we had to do something, so i made 9 mutas and sent them over to stop a newly found expansion at the 12 o'clock position of Deathtrap. The Mutas quickly killed the lings and sunken that was there before a horde of marines came bursting in and quickly the mutas were no more. I also expanded to my natural and so did Martinez. I produced mainly mutas and lings, who were mostly used to kill of all lings that Deathtrap was sending at Martinez. Then I sent in my 15 or so mutas to the 12 o'clock position to finally finish off that rotten expansion of Deathtrap. They did manage to kill all drones and sukens and I was just about to send in some lings to finish it up, when suddenly, over 30 marines and some vultures came in to destroy me, my lings were on a move-command, so half of them got slaugthered before I ordered them to attack. My base and the one from Martinez were quickly destroyed.

We demanded a rematch and we got one. The map was the hunters tons of fun (I hate BGH's, but TKOD chose the first map, so they could choose the other, =( )

Rematch

So, i started in the top-left corner and Martninez in the bottom-right. I went random and drew terran (bah, terran suck, only on hunters you can do something with them). Martinez chose zerg. I went for a depot-rax-depot, while Martinez went for a 7-pool. We soon figured out that Meagol was directly under me, as zerg. We built up our forces ready to rush Meagol, when Deathtrap, also chose zerg, preformed a poorly preformed zerling-rush on Martinez. I attack Meagol with 12 marines and got some back-up from Martinez. I had 3 rax and a almost complete factory by that time. My marines killed his firts hatch but there was a second more north, guarded by a lot of sunkens. So, I waited for more marines, and when I had about 25 marines ans 3 vultures, I went in, backed up by 10 hydras ans some mutas from my ally. I went well and if that bastard of a Deathtrap did not walk in my undefended base ( I got my marines out of the bunkers to help with the attack), I had surely killed him. Meagol, probably thinking something like "The best defence is the attack", sent his 4 mutas over to my base, where they were met by 1 missile turret by my CC. More hydras kept pooring in and my marines were ordered to help in the defence. But it didnt matter and the hydras kept coming. I couldn't stop them, so after the gg's me and my ally surrendered.
Back in the chatroom, my ally gave me a hard time for me playing so lousy. He was probably right, but I truly suck with terran, espessially on a BGH-map.
Lessons learned:
1.When you rush a player, make sure he is dead, because he can come back up and kill you when you're not prepared.
2. Stimmed marines own mutas.
3.Never, but really NEVER play on BGH, it truly SUX.
Thank you for reading this report. Yours truly, Blue_Flanker.
