This game happened last year at a camp I was at.. & for this reason.. some of the details will be a bit sketchy..
we had a mulitplayer comp & it took place on Plains of Snow, High resources & it was 2v2v2v2.

Players:
Team A:
-Stormwolf (Me) - 8:30 orc
Viper - 2:30 orc

Team B:
Packets - 9:30 human
cc - 7:00 human

Team C:
Hyper - 5:00 human
Dickwit (was really his name..) - 11:00 orc

Team D:
Snollynosh - 1:00 orc
???? - 4:00 orc

Now.. because I couldn't be in every place at once, obviously.. I cannot tell you exactly what everyone did.. but i'll do my best

I was quite confident in this game, because Viper and I won the preliminary round extremely easily, although I was a little concerned as I did not know the map and the main danger man (Snollynosh) had been previously knocked out of the competition, but was filling in for a guy who did not want to play.. my concern for him was well founded as I found out later..

STARTING:
I did my normal build which was to go hall, farm, farm, barracks, barracks, farm, smith, lumber, farm gold, with my first few peons. This allows me the weapon upgrade from the smith & exactly the right amount to upgrade to hold straight away.. & while thats building, enough for 1 grunt and a peon when its done. I also built a cannon tower surrounded by a bunch of farms at the north eastern part of my base. I also had one at the southern eastern part..

FIRST CONTACT:
I had about 5 grunts which were level 3 or 4 when packets & cc decided to attack me simultaneously with about 7 or 8 footmen which were about level 2 i think.. I walked over these losing 1 or 2 grunts.

Not much else was going on on the map I believe.. Everyone was building up. I now built my ogre mound & got a few of the beefy blokes and had my econ going full swing, raking in the gold (a little to quickly however, as I soon found out)

Again packets & cc attacked me together with about 15 footment which were about level 3 & 4, I had 6 or so grunts & about 4 ogres fully upgraded.. so once again i murdered them, however, this time they destroyed my southern cannon & severely damaged my northern one. I went & repaired it & continued building ogres. I mentioned to my ally about what was happening to him & he said he'd take a peek at packets.

About 2 mins later, I was informed that Viper had 9 or so ogres sittin outside his base, waiting for the ogre mage upgrade & then bloodlust while packets had virtually nil.

This reminded my that I had not upgraded to fortress yet. I looked at my cash (about 2000 / 1000) so i build a couple of ogres to bring my total to 10. & decided to wait until i got the cash for my fortress. A few second later it was back up to about 2000 gold. I took my attention away and sent out one heavily damaged ogre to see what everyone was doing.

UPDATE:
I found cc below me & saw that he has only about 3 knights guarding his base, which puzzled me somewhat. Although, after the game I found out why he had only this, Hyper who was next to him, had kept sending 1 or 2 knights at cc which was pissing him off, & he considered me dead & decided to kill Hyper, which he did very easily. & he also took the remainder of his gold mine. cc's main gold mine was also low, I got in and out without my ogre dying.

I found Hyper without any guys at all (must have been after cc's first attack) ???? was doing squat & i condsidered him no threat, but he killed my ogre :(. I sent out another damaged ogre and found Viper had about 2 ogre mages inside his base & I expressed my distaste, which he quickly defused, saying that packets was dead.. :). Snollynosh was the real worry, he had a large assortment of axe throwers, ogre mages & grunts. He could take out either me or Viper, or pretty much anyone else right now. I lost my ogre in this scouting too.

Because of Snollynosh's situation, I looked at my gold to see how much I had now, to my horror, I only had 3000!!! My mine was gone!! NOOO but i had a crapload of lumber..
Rather than upgrade to fortress with my remaining cash, i build an alchemist & built 1 zeppelin to see where i could grab an expansion. I found 5 gold mines inside the trees in the centre of the map & that was it. I had no choice.

OUR SITUATION:
I had now 8 level 5 ogres, in various stages of damage, no fortress, 2 barracks which i was very lucky to have as packets just before he died sent 2 demo squads at them but i just intercepted the 2nd one! PHEW.

Viper had about 5 ogres, but he had bloodlust & like me, no gold mine.

HOPES DIMINISH:
I now thought that we were buggered, Snolly could just about run over everyone on the map. I built a lumber mill right next to the trees & got my 20 or so spare peons to hack away at it.

UPDATE:
By now, everyone's main mine was gone, I found out later that ???? had blown away the trees on the south eastern section of the middle and had proceeded to mine that mine. However, cc saw this & erased him & took it for himself. Snollynosh was now chopping through the trees to get at the mine beside him while the southern mine in the same position had gone unnoticed.

By now, my peons had hacked through the centre bit (this took about 10 mins because of the way they set themselves out. I only had 500 gold, so I had to send them all the way back to base with a load before i could build a great hall. I got the money & built it. & proceeded to mine it with about 10 peons while the rest continued hacking away at the middle, About 2 minutes later, Viper had enough for his great hall & built one beside mine.

I now had cash rolling in & upgraded to fortress finally. I also stopped mining that mine in the centre & left it to Viper, I build a great hall at the next mine which we uncovered which was the middle one i believe. We both had cash rolling in and were starting to build up some forces & things were looking good. I built my altar of storms & upgraded to ogre mages & then bloodlust, but just as bloodlust was researching, Snollynosh attacked our middle part which he had just found. I had about 15 ogres, while Viper had about 7, but I had no bloodlust :(. Snollynosh's grunts, axe throwers & ogres were bloodlusted & a huge battle ensued, Viper bloodlusted his ogres, but sadly, they died very quickly. So did mine :(. We killed all but about 3 ogres, 2 grunts & 1 axe thrower which were now beating our expansion to bits. I had just produced 4 new ogres at base & now had bloodlust. I bloodlusted up & ran in & killed the remaining enemys.

Unfortuately, Viper's Great hall was destroyed as was most of his peons & mine was very close to dead with all but about 3 peons dead. Viper had to make the long trip back to base with it to get the gold for another hall. I helped him by repairing it & completing it in record time :P.

Snollynosh continued to send in a few guys to try & erase us from the centre, but my continual reinforcements were just able to restrain his best efforts. We once again, rebuilt our economies. & our forces. I built a 3rd barracks at home and sent in about 9 bloodlusted ogres to attack Snollynosh shortly when I had about 15 of them. They destroyed all of his forces that he had and several peons, I sent in a further 4 in an attempt to seize an opportunity. But his reinforcements that he built held me off.

I now had ogres pumping from 3 barracks, while Viper had them building from 2. I decided to take a look around. I found the only threat that existed was cc, who had about 20 knights & was also mining the south eastern centre mine. I quickly ran around the middle with 5 ogres to destroy this, I bloodlusted them & ran them at his peons. Unfortuantely, the mine just blew up the second i reached the hall :(. Although, i destroyed it, and all the peons that were there. But the mine had served its purpose.

I now had about 20 ogres and more coming. My centre mine blew up :(, so i hacked away at more trees, built another hall and within 5 minutes, I was mining at the south western centre mine.

I sent 18 ogres at cc & at the same time, sent about 9 at Snollynosh, who had virtually no money, no guys & was mining via the mine in the middle of the trees, but had no hall there, just his main hall.

I destroyed all his guys & stood in his peon line & killed most of them. Meanwhile, I only got to bloodlust a few of the ogres down at cc beacuse of my focus on Snollynosh, & as a result, I lost most of them :(. I had about 5 remaining that were beating away at his base, which he quickly eliminated with some reinforcements. Because of my attention on cc now, my ogres at Snollynosh were eliminated due to him baiting my men back to his main part of his base where he had 2 cannon towers which made short work of my men.

A breif lull ensued in the game in which time we continued building up ogres.

UPDATE:
Packets: dead
Me & Viper: alive & kicking
Snollynosh: hanging on
cc: alive & kicking
???: alive but not advertising it
Dickwit: alive but not advertising it
Hyper: dead

Viper then attacked Dickwit & killed him losing 1 of 18 ogres while I sent in about 15 ogres at Snollynosh. He now had a hall next to the top centre mine & was mining it heavily. He himself had about 6 ogres & more were building. However, my forces were far too much to handle & I destroyed his barracks, men, hall & peons next to the top centre mine. I took all but 2 of my ogres back out ready to attack cc. These 2 ogres sat next to the mine to watch for any more expansion attempts from Snollynosh, but none occurred.

Once again, I attacked cc, this time with Viper's help. Together we had about 30 ogres & completely slaughtered cc, losing only about 5 ogres. He was dead. All taht was left now was to mop up. We had won!!!!

With our superior forces, we eliminated what was left of people with ease.

This was an absolutely sensational game which we probably shouldn't have won. But luck was shining on us. I'm surprised I remembered this much actually.
