This wasn't really an exciting game, but it really got my blood pumping. I guess because I rarely win. The game lasted about 7½ minutes, give or take a couple seconds. It was just me ({MEK}~Viper~Lc}) and him ([Pain]Ifrit316). The beginning started off with a simple return of "hey" and then the question of "ready?". Then we were off. We were playing on Lost Temple with me taking the right plateau and Ifrit getting the northern plateau. I had chosen random, and as I kept my eye on his race, noticed he changed to Protoss at the last second. I was started with Zerg.

I immediately got my drones on minerals and began hatching another. Just before it hatched I decided to scout the top first with my overlord. I guess my pure luck that was where he was. I proceeded with the basic Zerg build order: Pool on 7, creep on 8, creep on 9. That's where my building halted. Once my pool evolved I morphed the creep colonies into sunkens and hatched zerglings with the 2 larvae I had. I sent the zerglings on to his base to annoy him. They dealt with a couple probes, and eventually a zealot that he had trained. I gave his probes chase to the outer rim of the plateau and he retreated back to minerals, I got my zerglings on the gateway and hatched two more (but forgot to send them once done). A zealot eventually killed the remains of my zerglings.

I was getting desperate at this time, so I hatched two more and sent the 4 on their way, immediately after I sent them another larvae came and I made 2 more. All I had to deal with now was 1 zealot. I finished off his probes and the zerglings easily killed the zealot, and was accompanied by the other two as the zealot was killed. I got them all on the gateway and just watched, not paying attention to my base. I'd built up about 350 some odd minerals by now and had to more larvae, so I hatched some more and sent them on their way. As soon as they arrived another zealot popped out and was easily dealt with. I continued on the gateway, and made 2 more zerglings to help. Once the gateway was gone I went straight for the nexus, which wasn't destroyed until after Ifrit had left the game. I sat through the "You you achieved victory" prompt to watch my zerglings finish the nexus...

This put my ladder stats up to 2/2 with a 1006 rating (up from 985). I didn't know what his record or rating was, so I give this game the win of luck...
