Hi, it is I again, your favorite Text BR writer, whacked_peon. Here goes my second BR.

Settings:

Map: LOST TEMPLE
Speed: Faster (even though it seemed like fast due to midgame lag.)
Players:
Team FE
Rupeo[fe]: 12 o'clock (chose Terran)
[fe]DefSquad: 3 o'clock (random Protoss)

Team NH
whacked_peon: 9 o'clock (random Terran)
SSD4: 6 o'clock (chose Protoss)

I start out with a basic build of supply depot on 8 at my choke to form a wallin. Then barracks on 10 and another Supply depot on 12. I really like this choice because:
a.) Sometimes people automatically think Heavy Metal
b.) No way to be scouted
c.) It leaves me choices on which order I feel is the best (ex. If there is Zerg go mass M&M ect.)

So basically it leaves your opponents guessing. I scouted after my 1st depot was done and found the [fe]DefSquad to be Protoss; Tanks and Vultures for me.

SSD4's Build of the day:

SSD4 did nothing fancy, he basically went pylon on 7 and then dual gate on 12, leaves you open to many different styles of play depending on the situation: he was playing it safe. He also early gassed, suggesting Dragoons.

Scouting:

Further into early game, scouting reveals that [fe]DefSquad has further implicated himself into the newbie category: he has revealed a Pylon offset from choke with Forge quickly warping in. Rupeo[fe] has shown his mastery of the Terran art by safely going 2 rax minimal marines and quick tanks. Rupeo[fe] has demonstrated that Marines are good in any situation.

Midgame-

I'm happily churning out vultures and tanks while throwing down a Star Port with a quick add-on for D-ship capabilities. SSD4 has chosen to power and he quickly takes his natural with a handful of dragoons, a few zlots and a Cannon for detection purposes.

SSD4: "Shit, help..."

whacked_peon: "?"

SSD4: "I just got Dual Reavered."

SSD4: "Help me you ass"

SSD4: "I lost 17 probes"

Ouch.

I load up my new tanks and bring them over VIA D-ship. I unload them out of range of the Protoss threat and let them dispense their own little ass kicking. Well, the damage was done, even tho [fe]DefSquad was down 2 reavers.

Ok, my Ego is hurt and SSD4's economy is hurt even more. We spend a small time of rebuilding and powering, during this time frame I'm able to take my natural expansion and tank my cliff.

-Let the fun begin.

I feel the necesity to do some damage so I gather up my 8 tanks and set out for a mission to kill something. This is where I made a big mistake, I should of tried to contain the [fe] threat by setting up a middle map seige and try to split the 2, but no, I got greedy, real greedy. I set a little tank push out of [fe]DefSquad's gimme. I am able to kill 2 reavers and a few cannons with my 3 tanks, but shuttles and reavers take their toll.

Scouting further implicates Rupeo[fe]'s war machine is on the move, 5 tanks and about 16 finely chosen warriors accompany this company to wipe out SSD4. SSD4 is able to send his whole army to distract the Terran mastermind, while I deviously set up tanks out of range and take pot shots at the terran bretheren.

The fight ensues.

No one is the victor here, each player has taken heavy casulties even the turtling Protoss [fe]DefSquad who sacraficed 4+ reavers the to arctilite cannon shells of the Seige Tanks.

I scan the islands, scouting again suggests both players have taken camp, Terran at the top left while the eager the protoss at bottom right: scouting concludes no probes are being commanded to harvest.

SSD4: "Take out the islands"

whacked_peon: "Heh, I'll try"

I quickly load up 4 goliaths(with Chargon Rocket boost) and 8 tanks. I send 4 tanks and 4 goliaths to Terran's Island expan and 4 tanks to Protoss.

Ack, mass Wraithes have been sighted. I am able to shell the expansion to oblivion and kill an odd amount of wraiths until my Goliaths are exterminated and the poor Tank commanders are left to fend for themselves. On a happier note, I was able to decimate Protoss expansion, with the loss of only 1 Tank and his loss was: 3 reavers, 15 probes and a Nexus, now thats effiecency!

SSD4 has not been sitting Idle during this little scuttle, he has been wearing down his protoss bretheren and Finally winning the war, he was able to seige the Protoss encampment and grab [fe]DefSquad by the lluevos(that's Eggs in Spanish, Mogalin is of Spanish decent!).

Player [fe]DefSquad has been eliminated.

Player [fe]DefSquad has left the game.

Wahoo! That reaver dropping whore is no more!

SSD4: "I ran out of minerals"

SSD4: "I can't make anymore men"

SSD4: "It's all up to you now you know"

DOH! Why the **** did he have to say that? Well, I begin production on 8 tanks and 8 goliaths. Rupeo[fe] being very wounded, has a small out of forces left. I scan the top edge, Siege my crew of men and pray to god. The newly produced Tanks of Rupeo[fe] were quickly dispensed.

Me: "Phew"

The sounds of lasers pierce my ears like Polka Music, DOH, NOT MY TANKS. Ack, i quickly press "1" "s" and hope my Goliath captains are equipped for the job. 8 wraiths go down in a blaze of glory from Chargon Boosted rockets from HELL.

Rupeo[fe]: "GG"
whacked_peon: "gg"
SSD4: "Gg"

And Team NH has prevailed.

-Lesson learned:

-SSD4 should of made High Templars, that would of prblly made our game a lot shorter.

-Tanks can be really nifty.

-Always pray that you get a terran on your team, they are the backbone and can make or break a game.

-BRing is hard.

-Mogalin is Mexican.

-My protoss > I-ball's Zerg.

-SSD4 and I arent the best of partners because we arent use to eachothers style of play and we just don't know eachother.

-SSD4 did a hell'uv a job holding off Tank pushes: he's a dependable ally.

Thanks!
