Well, I log back on to battle.net, and I play a 2on2 with bob_the_newt in which I took all the exps, made 15 hatcherys and pumped hydras vs 2 ran and we won. gg.:). Next, The-Relic says 1on1 anyone? I reply and yet I load it up and 2 obsverers come in.. Bob_the_newt and someone else I forget=[. It is PGL temple again, and he picks zerg. I want this to be a good game, so I give him the advantage. Protoss is chosen by me and we start 'er off!
I land @ 6:00 and begin warping probes from the now fallen planet auir. I suppose they warp from Shakurs? Well, I make a pylon on 8 and scout 9:00. The shadow of an overlord is coming near my plateau and I know he's at 9. I scout to see dual hatchery and a spawning pool morphing, and I begin another pylon and a gateway. I gather 2 zealots and 2 probes and hope for containment from a early exp, it held for about 4 minutes when a swarm of lings attacked and I retreated. I begin a cybernetics core and a assimalator and another gateway. I get a forge warping also. I get a cannon at my main and at my choke.. when he sends lings at me but I got a good choke position and I stop the lings and he goes away. I get citadel of adun and a stargate..
Another SSD4 tip : If you see only lings, get corsairs. It *could* be game over. Also, I used them for the purpose of dt/sair strat. The sair drives away their overlord, and dark templars do their thing!=].
I start zealots nike shoes and get a templar archive and get 2 sairs. I get a total of 3 overlords before hydras drive me away. He has over 20 lings outside my base, and my corsair drives away the loomonous overlord above them, and attack them with a dark templar. Hmmmm, maybe he didn't notice because when I went back he had 17 kills:). The remaining 8 retreated. I got a natural expansion and start psionic storm. I keep the pressure on him, and the sairs are nice for scouting. I scout 12 and find a sunken with a couple of drones. Now, it's time for another
SSD4's tip! : Send all your forces to the temple. I'm seirous. It will help when you have more of the map controlled, if gives you map control, and you get his forces in-transit so you get him in a PINCER position.
I send 8 nike air shoe zealots to 12, and 15 to the middle to stop incoming reinforcements. Darktemplar are in the mix of course!. I start a pylon below 3 chokepoint and add 3 gateways. I get 4 cannons warping in when 12 hydras come at the expansion, but as I said the guys in the middle are convientent and before you can say NIKE they respond and get the hydras with casualties.
The 12 expansion is gone, but then 2 dozen hydras hit me at my main, but zealots from 3 directions with dark templar rock them left and right. I am 2 weapons now. While he attacks my 3 expansion again, I send 8 zealots to his natural. I lose 4 cannons and I am forced to send reinforcments to my 3:00 expansion. I eventually save it. His expansion goes to ruins and I get 6 more gateways. I expand to 3 natural, 12, 12 natural and 3 mineral natural. I make probes non-stop and I attack. He holds. But 2 templar sneak behind and got 2 cloan storms off and all drones disappeer. :).I know it is effectively over, rally all my guys to his main and I destroy the last lings.
I storm the larva on behalf of bob_the_newt, and this has been another SSD4'S QUEST FOR SKILL IN NOHUNTERS!
I will do these until I lose. I am also on a laptop until december 30th.
