Sitting in my jail cell, I pondered the mistake of my last battle which will forever put, in giant red letters, the word DISCER on my military I.D. Why the hell did I do such a thing in the first place. The Zerg horde had overran our position, and before the rest of us were destroyed I opened up a channel to the zerg cerebrate. I called him a "Stinky Cheater" and pulled the battle cord saving us from death, but forever tagging me as a coward.
Just as I was about to go into my "Cry and whine for mommy" phase of the day, two soldiers came to my cell.
"Your services are required, sir."
"Really?" I happily replied feeling that i was needed again.
"We have a shortage of base commander people."
"Blast it all!" Must be some shortage.
I am led into an empty white room with 2 chairs and a table and asked to sit. I wait, twiddling my thumbs and wondering how much longer I'll have to #$%#$ wait before I can get transferred back to killing more monsters in the depths of hell...I hear it's 3d accelerrated down in those parts these days. After a minute the door opens and 3 guys in black suits wearing sunglasses enter. One sits down while the other 2 stand behind me.
The one sitting down speaks, "You probably don't know why you're here...Mr. Anderson."
"My name.....is JAMELLAN!!" I reply wondering why I felt obligated to respond like that. The man seems puzzled and then says, "But of course. I'm sorry, my mind is elsewhere. I just saw a really cool movie. Anyway, Jamellan, you have been released from jail because we have a shortage of base commanders. It seems that most of our terran commanders have been losing battles. After a few losses, most of them throw a tantrum about corsair fleets or zerg lurkers and defect to the protoss or zerg cause."
"Well sir," i said "I have faith in the Terran cause and am proud to get another chance on the battleground."
"You depart immediatly. You will be stationed on the planet TOW which we like to cleverly refer to as THE THEATRE OF WAR!!!! BOOGA BOOGA!" The officer was then put into a strait jacket and courted away.
On the way to TOW in my shuttle I was debriefed by what I like to refer to as "The bald woman with all the wires coming out of the back of her head."
"Commander, we have tracked one of the defecting terran commanders to this planet. He has allied himself with 2 zerg forces and are just starting to fortify their positions. You will not be alone in your mission. A protoss and zerg force have in fact defected their cause to the Terrans. The protoss commander wishes to talk with you. Putting through transmission..."
"Hello thea sha. My name is Azzkicker, and thatsh mishter Azzkicker to you. I shupposhe you're wondering why a protosh commander would defect to the Terransh caushe. It'sh quite shimple. The conclave deniesh all protosh of corn nutsh. My entire forshe lovesh thoze tashty corn nutsh. I alsho heard that a zsherg sherebrate ish going to be joining the battle with ush. They probably didn't tell you thish, but I heard that thish sherabrate wash born retarted which ish the only reashon any zsherg would defect to the Terransh."
With that he cut off the transmission. I thought to myself "Great, I'm going to be fighting alongside a retarted zerg cerebrate and a corn nut-loving protoss freak that sounds like that James Bond guy." I began to get worried as the shuttle arrived at TOW.
Well, I'm getting hungry so that's all for now. If this gets some good feedback and doesn't get deleted :) I'll write the second part which is actually what happened in the game :)
