In the chat, Kolgan_ and ZergiesBlood talked nicely like nice peeps they are. ZerglingsBlood chose Zerg. Kolgan_ then picked Zerg also.
When all arrangements were set, they exchanged "gg" and "hf" and "=]". But alas, when three popped up on the countdown clock, ZerglingsBlood picked Terran, hoping to knock out his opponent with Terran's natural advantage over Zerg. With that, Kolgan_ thought a "hMn".
And let the game begin...
Kolgan_ spawned at 12, and ZerglingsBlood spawned at 6. Afraid of an early offensive bunker attempt, Kolgan_ placed his 2nd hatchery at his ramp on 9/9 count. He then followed up his build with an overlord and a spawning pool. Three drones were built when the overlord was produced and were sent to their mineral patches. When the 2nd hatchery was finished, Kolgan_ produced a drone and morphed it in a sunken at near his ramp.
Both players talked, and ZerglingsBlood bluffed of an early command center at his natural expansion. Kolgan_ doubted this, but was scared at the fact of a Terran's two bases vs a one underpowered Zerg. Kolgan_ sent a drone to the 9 position finding nothing, then to the 6 position, seeing that an early terran exp was a bluff. ZerglingsBlood had his choke protected with a bunker, tanks, and marines and medics. At this time, Kolgan_ had upgraded to lair, with lurker upgrade 50% complete. Since only his ramp was protected by 2 sunkens, Kolgan_ needed those lurkers fast.
Kolgan_ then upgraded overlord speed, and sent his five new lurkers to the front of ZerglingsBlood's base. Burrowed at the Terran's entrance hall, Kolgan_ now had time to expand at will and build up his zergie force.
Kolgan_ expanded at 3, followed by an exp at 3 o'clock's natural, and then an expansion at 12's natural. Kolgan_ has been building combinations of lings, muties, and hydras. With air support, Kolgan_ should have been prepared for any Terran drop attempt. All has been silent up to this point, until a lonely scv scouts and gets hammered by lurkers. ZerglingsBlood, aware of his opponent's lurkers, let out sly remarks as Kolgan_ moved overlords to the stranded lurkers, and picked up four and sent them to the ledge of ZerglingsBlood's base. The lurkers then went to the mineral line, but only to be stopped by tanks.
Right after the lurker drop attempt, Kolgan_ discovered fire at 3 o'clocks natural expansion. ZerglingsBlood had built 2 bunkers, 2 turrents, and had 2 tanks on the ledge, popping drones at will. Kolgan_, discouraged at his lost expansion, expanded at 12 o'clock's 3rd natural, as well as 3 o'clock's 3rd natural.
At this late in the game, Kolgan_ was suprised to see that ZerglingsBlood had not made an attempt to expand. With Kolgan_'s five bases compared to ZerglingsBlood one, he knew he had the game in the bag. Kolgan_ did get amusement out of his opponent, by ZerglingsBlood spatting out insults and that HE had the game in the bag, because Kolgan_ only had one expansion =]
At this time, Kolgan_ ran out of minerals at his main base, and then figured that ZerglingsBlood must be out too, and that he needed an expansion bad. The only base that was not being spyed on was the south isle exp, so Kolgan_ sent a mutalisk to it and *voila*, a command center was about 60% complete, guarded by 6 or 7 wraiths. ZerglingsBlood then spazed "haha, nice."
Kolgan_ wanted to wait until the cc would be complete, so he waited about one minute, then sent 14-17 mutalisks with 2 overlords to the south isle exp. Alas, the cc was finished constructing, and the final battle was engaged. ZerglingsBlood's few wraiths were no match for 17 mutalisks. Kolgan_ destoyed everything at the southern isle, and spouted a few lines of his own, tasting victory.
FINAL CHAPTER: DISMAN ^^
ZerglingsBlood then rambled about jerks on battle.net, how shitty Kolgan_'s attack was, and other various remarks.
With one last sentence, ZergiesBlood said,
"sorry for the draw man"
And of course, the "waiting for players" screen appeared and Kolgan_ sat in laughter at his newbie opponent. With 10 seconds left on the clock, suprisingly it stopped. Kolgan_ then typed as fast as he could,
"heard of br.com?"
"=]"
And within an instant after those two sentences were posted, the "waiting for players" screen appeared yet again. But alas, when it was at five, it stopped and ZerglingsBlood left the game. Kolgan_'s br.com message saved the game, forcing newbie ZerglingsBlood to cancel his disconnect and take a loss instead.
But, Kolgan_ has posted a br of the game, showing his opponent's newbieness and channagons =]
