Ever since =Cyrix= defeated me (by luck) in a game not too long ago, I asked for a rematch...
=Cyrix=: No.
=X-22=: Why not?
=Cyrix=: Because... I uhhhh, have to go soon...
=X-22=: Uh huh. ok. *cough cough* ....pussy.
Well that was a day or two ago.
Seeing him again today in 'nohunters', I saw him request a game.
=Cyrix=: Anyone for a game
=X-22=: Me! Me! come on! rematch!!!
=Cyrix=: ok. join cyr/cyr
Yes! At last, I could have my revenge.... Little did I know how hard it would be....
Yes, the ever so popular Lost Temple map was the site for our battle...

well I wasn't too thrilled with that, as I wanted to beat =Cyrix= by myself... but seeing as I probably wouldn't get another chance soon...
=X-22=: fine. I'm in.
And the game began!
---The Silent Era---
The game started rather slowly....
I was Terran, from random, spawned left side.
Cyrix was Terran, picked, spawned right side.
Outkast was Zerg, from random, spawned bottem.
I quickly ordered my command center to begin production on another SCV. I had my plan in mind: 1 rax, depot, depot, 2 facs. I went about this and accomplished it without being attacked. I scouted both players with an SCV. Cyrix had 2 rax, so I thought we was going normal build, and he was also walled in. Outkast had an expansion starting with some zergling by it. My defense currently consisted of a bunker and several tanks along the wall to my choke. I decided to hang low and see if these 2 would battle it out....
---A Disturbance Rocks the Temple---
I picked up a light strat the other day and decided to put it into use. I expanded to my natural, building 2 turrets and a bunker for protection. I got a starport soon and began production of 2 dropships, while at the same time constructing tanks and marines. I loaded up into each: 3 marines, and SCV, and a tank. The idea was to dump them on a cliff, build a bunker and turret, and siege the tank. first off i performed this on the ledge above my natural, as most people attempt sneaky tricks from up there. I sent my second dropship to Cyrix's expansion ladge, but was intercepted by a patrolling wraith. I was somewhat suprised to see Cyrix with a wraith, but i suppose that is possible. Then a real shocker came, as I ordered my dropship to retreat, it caught a glimpse of Cyrix's exp cc. It had a nuke silo. awwwww shit i think to myself, but managed to get the dropship away safely.
---Fighting Fire with Fire---
I had 2 comsats running now, one at my main, and the other at my exp. I was using a lifted off engineering bay to spot for my tanks, and since I wanted to upgrade my troops, I build two more bays and began upgrading. During this time I surround my base with a loose ring of turrets, as I had about 2400 minerals. I then constructed 2 armories, and set them on upgrading my new wraith fleets. I built a Science Facility for some mobile detection, and it brought up the ever so popular question.... Covert or Physics? hmmmmm.... tough choice.... Covert. I decided to fight Cyrix's nuke with my own.... hehe. I built 2 more command centers (remember i have 2400+ minerals) and added nuke silos to them.
---The Annihilation---
No sooner had I performed my new drop (3 marines, tank, scv) on the natural next to the empty main, that I noticed an overlord fly over my base. It was quickly dispatched my turrets. I knew I didnt have much defense, and Outkast knew it too.... 'Nuclear Missile Ready'. YES! I used a dropship and transported a ghost to the ledge next to the empty main's natural. 'Nuclear Missle Ready'. cool. 2 nukes baby. I walked to the edge of the ledge, cloaked my ghost, donned ocular implants, and let the dot fly across the river, right next to cyrix's main cc. 'Nuclear Launch Detected'. hehe. revenge baby. 'Nuclear Launch Detected'. Awwwwwww shit! That one ain't mine! I scramble across my bases, looking for the dot, I don't see one.... I glance at my ghost, his nuke falls right on target. Good. 'Base is under attack'. shit cyrix nuked me?!. I hit spacebar and head over to my main. uh oh.... 48 hydras looking for blood.... BOOM! I dont know what hit me, my defense is raped and my main falls. leaving me with my exp. I manage to kill the last hydras at the end, leaving me with a few depots in my main. with 4800 minerals, and 2400 gas, I scold myself and head toward the upper left island. The other two leave me for dead.... hehe.
---Recon is Fun---
During this time, I decide I might as well go BC, since my air is fully upgraded and I have so much surplus. I kick it back for awhile, not worrying about attack, and build up 4 starports. I get a science facility again ( my main was destroyed) and this time make the right choice... Physics. I notice my comsat at my natural is full. I comsat the open start location, and see retreating creep, followed by a force of SCV's and Marines. Good, they forgot about me? I realize that I will need more gas for my BC's, so I head back up to my former main. Nothing is here, no scouts or spies. I build a cc and start harvesting the depleted vespene (I'm really deseperate) . I also expand to the Natural of the open starter, now controlled by Cyrix I think. I comsat the lower right island. I see Terran buildings crumbling into the ground and overlords dropping drones. hehe. this is too good. I now have a force of about 8 BC's and 2 science vessels. I kick back and watch cyrix and outkast fight eachother.
---Awww Shit I've Been Noticed!---
Yep, sadly, Outkast decides he's going to finish me off. Yeah, right. He drops hydras and lurks on my exp, but I use my now 6 sci vessles to irradiate them all. I keep my 12 BC's and 8 Wraiths at my island, ready to suprise someone. I begin my comsatting again. I comsat the 'open' starting location. Last seen as cyrix's I now find out that it is outkasts? Then I see Cyrix's 5 BC's come in and wipe it out. His BC's are 0/0/0 while mine are 3/3/3. excellent. I comsat the lower right island and see that Cyrix retook it. I see that these guys will go on forever. I decide it's time to attack.....
---REVENGE KICKS ASS!!!---
Yeah you heard me. My BC's, Wraiths and Sci Vessel head for Cyrix's main.... I approach from the north and blow the base into oblivion. He has little to say, and little to defend with. Several curses later, he requests vision. yeah sure why not, I'm very confident that I will win. Unfortunately Cyrix also gives us vision, so Outkast sees my fleet. His response: Damn. I head south more, wiping out Cyrix's natural and blowing away the bottem right island, once and for all. I head left to Outkast's natural. I slaughter it. No spores, all sunkens. He ensnares my BC's but that won't stop me, I walk into his main slowly and level the place. GG's are exchanged. They both leave, I finish off their mains after they leave, just for fun =).

---Lessons Learned---
- You aren't out until you have no town hall, no peons, and less than 50 minerals.
- 2 Nukes at the same time scares the shit outta me.
- Terrans can win when they tech fast.
- BC's with Sci Vessel support own.
- When using cloaked wraiths to attack, comsat first and kill observers, or kill overlords or sci vessels, and make their comsat station a priority.
- In an FFA, try to let your opponents fight it out.
- Revenge kicks major ass!
