Team X17 (Gozita-X17 and Xcaly-X17) vs. team Gosu Skillz (TillerMaN and IceGod) on Island Hop. I bet you thought I'd say Lost Temple, didn't you?

Everyone but IceGod is using their main nicks, who is using Jedi^Knight. Gozita-X17 opens with double stargate corsairs, Xcaly-X17 sets up one stargate and one robo, TillerMaN goes for quick templar with his citadel of adun and robotics facility warping in at same time, and IceGod starts a lair, hatch, and hydra den, in that order.

First offensive comes from Gozita-X17, who tries to pop some of IceGod's overlords with his first corsair. It is soon joined by one from Xcaly-X17, but they're only able to kill one ovie before hydralisks chase them off. The X17ers continue to be annoying dicks in whatever way possible with the sairs. They kill a couple of ovies, and destroy TillerMaN's shuttle before the cannon and templar can do anything about it (storming corsairs over your peon line isn't cost effective).

Xcaly-X17 has completed his reaver tech, and sends a shuttle carrying one of the slugs and two zealots to TillerMaN. It drops in a spot behind his peon not covered by cannons, and proceeds to unload scarabs on the probes. Tiller commands his templar to storm the reaver the second it hits the ground, but it is able to kill around ten probes before succumbing to the lightning. Gozita-X17 attempts to kill some more ovies, but winds up flying over fifteen hydras and losing four sairs. TillerMaN doesn't like being peon dropped, and sends over his own variety of probe killer over to Xcaly-X17 to get some revenge.

After that brutal storming, TillerMaN tells IceGod to follow it up with his hydras. Six overlords are soon on their way to Xcaly-X17, and reach their destination without corsair interference. All Xcaly has to fight the 24 hydras is two reavers, four zealots, and a few cannons. Although things look very bad for Xcaly-X17, his buildings are positioned perfectly to fight hydras with reavers, and with the aid of shuttles kills all of the invading bugs. Xcaly-X17 lost one reaver, four zealots, one shuttle, and his gate and cycore in the defense. With all the hydras killed, Gozita-X17 swoops in with his trusty sairs and kills the remaining overlords.

 While everyone builds up, Gozita-X17 expands to the top left main, most likely choosing it because of my scv being there and adding to the overall coolness. TillerMaN expands to the six o'clock base between him and Xcaly-X17 a little later, and orders IceGod to hit Xcaly again. This time, however, the overlords are intercepted by corsairs before even leaving his base.

Xcaly-X17 sees that TillerMaN's warping exp is defended by a templar and zealot with an observer, and drops a reaver and zealot on it, hoping to destroy it before more defense comes. The reaver wastes it first scarab on TillerMaN's zealot, and is killed by two storms before it can launch another. Tiller drops another zealot and templar there, and starts making cannons now that his pylon has warped in. IceGod sends eight hydras and a drone to the expansion northeast of TillerMaN and starts a hatch. Gozita-X17 keeps on attempting to give IceGod a brain aynurism by killing any overlords he sees, and that includes ones going to and coming back from the new expansion.

Xcaly-X17 finally takes an exp, warping in a nexus at the resource node above him. Team X17 doesn't approve of IceGod's expansion, and drop four goons, six zealots, and a reaver to destroy it. The eight hydralisks there are no match, and with corsairs preventing any help, the expansion falls. It should be noted, that after killing the hydralisks, the reaver killed all of the zealots attacking the hatch with splash =]

During this, IceGod dropped Xcaly-X17's warping expansion. The only defense was a probe and pylon, so Xcaly-X17 canceled the nexus to use the money another time. IceGod drops some drones at the now free spot to start a hatch, and TillerMaN sends templar to help defend. IceGod soon has a disturbing realization.

IceGod now sets to the task of mining at the exp, loading up the drones, returning them to his main, bringing the drones back, washing, rinsing, and repeating. Gozita-X17 expands to top right with a single probe, while TillerMaN secures the middle left expansion with two shuttles worth of temps/zealots/goon. It is soon scouted by corsairs, but TillerMaN uses his extraordinary storming skills to ward off the sairs.

Gozita-X17 is somehow able to withstand the storms, and drops three shuttles of dragoons onto the isle before TillerMaN's shuttle of probes even finishes its unloading process.

The soon to be expansion is torn down, leaving TillerMaN with only one source of income. Xcaly-X17 sends a probe to IceGod's former expansion, and begins warping a nexus. Gozita-X17 has finally researched disruption web, and blankets IceGod's morphing expansion with it. Now that IceGod's hydras are useless, Xcaly-X17 drops four templar and storms everything in sight, then begins morphing an archon.

The archon proceeds to rape each and every drone at the expansion, although the lil' buggers do manage to get it down to 4 hp =]

IceGod now has no expansions and no money, so is pretty much out of the game. TillerMaN has realized the need for some air cover, and started making corsairs of his own. Once he reaches 12, his and Gozita-X17's clash, with
Gozita-X17 winning due to upgrades. Team Gosu Skillz realizes that this is the end for them, and concedes.
