Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to -MrCow-'s debut for battlereport writing. Today's match introduces me vs. my friend who's schooled me 12 times in a row already..grrrrr......ok, enough all the introduction crap already let's get on with the game!

Both of us opted to go random on Dark Temple (hehehe, everyone's favorite map). My terran forces touched down on the altered surface of twilight at the 12:00 position while my opponent warped in his nexus at the 3:00 position. Not knowing what he was, I happily took my started my standard terran build which is 7- depot, 9 rax and 11 rax. Well, some strange quote cued me in on his race. "No rush for er...6 min." was what it said. Immediately, I had a hunch that my opponent was toss, so I veered off my build order and ordered up with my 10th SCV my choke blocked off. (Standard temple wall-in. Heartcutter, ain't ya proud of me? hehehe=) soon enough, I saw his little troublemaking probe start coming up my ramp and doing some gay dances because it couldn't get through for some reason. Also, my unfriendly marine wasn't exactly a good diplomat because gauss fire does not exactly spell out a good "hello." Here, I continued with my build going on 2 more barracks when I just remembered "Holy crap, where's Deon??!!!!" I forgot to make the poor fella scout and right when he charged down my ramp….kaboom! he went up in a great ball of fire from cannons. Grrrrrrrrr… he cannoned me in. ugh. It looks like I’ll be facing my 1247673th lawsuit for recklessly sending Deon to die. Err…Deon’s relatives won’t be happy.

Soon after I discover his evil plan, I build a comsat and set down 2 factories with machine shops and begins pumping out tanks like a madman. Well, er.. I had to cancel a few because I needed supplies and money to build marines and siege mode. Once I had 3, I sieged up my tanks and blasted out of containment. I saw a little flaw in his base at 9’clock, since 2 cannons, 2 pylons, a few gateways and a Citadel of Adun was near his cliff. I sieged my tanks below that cliff and… yes... you guess it, comsatted and destroyed 2 cannons, 1 gateway and the Citadel of Adun. He immediately replied “ugh, gay gay gay gay gay gay” and sent 3 templar loyal to Darth Vader and dispatched of my tanks. 1 quick scan revealed those troublemakers and I immediately killed the templar.

By this time, I decided it was time it was time to strike and built a force of 24 marines and 8 medics. I sent those and found a fighting force of about 13 zealots and 5 dragoons. I lured his troops away, stimmed and systematically popped each zealot and dragoon. Then, I moved my troops and razed his nexus until… my marines started screaming like there was no tomorrow. I looked and a saw 12 marines turn into red stew due to psionic storm…grrrrrr. Well, that attack force was quashed by more zealots and dark templar.

Meanwhile, I wasn’t idle at home. I was busy building vultures to assassinate the templar and hopefully raze his main (which I doubt I could do). I took 24 more marines and 4 vultures to set out to attack his 2 templar were sitting idle at his main base when my 4 vultures charged up and assassinated them. I laid a whole bunch of spider mines and charged my marines up the ramp. I was greeted very warmly by the screams of my marines from scarabs. AH! He had 2 reavers near the choke and firing at my marines. I took my vultures, spread them out, and started shooting them as well as my marines. I finally took them out, only to be finished by superior numbers of zealots/dragoons/dark templar.

Meanwhile, he decided to go on the offensive and attack me. He reaver dropped my main base, but a few tanks displaced of them very quickly…well, only after he wiped out 8 Scv’s. I expanded to my natural and we both sat idle for a while. He went on the offensive again with a reaver drop at my main and a huge attack force to my natural. The reaver drop failed, but the attack consisted of about 18 zealots, 1 dragoon and 4 dark templar. My tank on the nearby cliffs, bunker and turrets took out all but 5 zealots, which forced my CC to lift off. I finished his attack force with 3 firebats and 12 marines.

I scanned and found that he had 2 exp’s on both islands. I dropped a payload of 2 tanks, 6 marines and 2 medics on each of them and razed them both with barely any resistance. He made a last ditch expansion attempt and re-expanded to his natural. I took my marines/medics/tanks from the bottom island and sieged them on the cliff I razed his exp, but my forces were decimated. Scouting that he had no more exp’s, I found that the game was at hand, and loaded 18 marines, 6 medics and 4 tanks to his main. GG’s were exchanged and he conceded defeat.

Thanks for reading my first battlereport.

P.S. this guy before this game had a 12-0 record against me. Now it’s 13-1 because he whooped me with zerg soon afterwards.
