Some things I want to say before the battle report...

1. This is my first battle report. If you have a problem with this BR or the things in it, feel free to comment, but notice #4 and quit bitching about how you can't view this in Netscape.

2. There are no hot anime chicks in this battle report.

3. I don't have Photoshop at my house, so the editing will be done in ms paint. (Jamellan RULES!!!)

4. This was done in Netscape Composer, so if you are using Netscape, the HTML should work.

5. Sorry you have to scroll the screen to see more sentences.

6. All of these problems should be fixed in my next BR.

 ==Nimrod==
vs.
[S]Ghost
Pre-game/Initial Game (7:30)...
This report starts just as most others do. I was in NoHunters one night (before the 15 bots came) and I saw on my bright computer screen that a guy named [S]Ghost wanted to play a 1vs1. I asked him if I could report it, and he said... yes. Soon after that, a guy by the name of ==Nimrod==, aka Doom-, showed his intention on playing a game against Ghost.

Anyway, after we arrive at this game (on Lost Temple), the soon-to-be combatants had a few things to say...

Nimrod draws Protoss at 9:00 and does a sort-of odd build order with pylon on 7, then gateway, pylon, gateway, cyber core, pylon, pylon, gas

Ghost draws Zerg at 12:00 and also does an almost out-of-the-ordinary build order consisting of hatch on 9 below his ramp, pool, 4 sunkens behind his 2nd hatch, takes his natural, gas at main, hydra den, gas at exp, and then proceeds to take the 3:00 main, and caps it off with an evo chamber.

First Blood
While Nimrod sends one zealot to scout Ghost's main,  Ghost sends a force of what looks to be 12 speedy zerglings (they haven't got  their crack yet) and 12 hydralisks to Nimrod and his just-begun expansion (his natural), which was guarded by 14 dragoons, 1 zealot, and 1 templar. A fierce skirmish begins, which results in Ghost losing all of his attacking force, while Nimrod doesn't have to use a psi storm and loses only 2 zealots .

More Blood + Psi Storms

Following that conflict, Nimrod moves his remaining forces  to the 3:00 mineral only natural. More fighting (and bloodshed!!) results when Ghost attacks the Protoss force of 14 dragoons, 1 zealot, and 1 templar, with 8 young hydralisks, while 8 speedlings intercept any reinforcements that come along the way. The hydra's die, although killing many half-dead dragoons before blowing up from a storm, and the lings get to kill 2 dragoons on the way to assist the other dragoons, while only 2 of Ghost's lings die. The 6 remaining speedings get all the way to Nimrod's natural, but then are killed by few zealots and a few probes.

After this fight, there is a short break in the action, so I will update you with the player's upgrades.

So Much Blood!!!
This break ends when Nimrod decides to storm a few hydralisks Ghost has outside his hatchery guarding his ramp. This storm fails to kill 1 hydra, as Ghost then moves 12 hydralisks (including the stormed ones) to attack Nimrod's force standing beside the 3:00 mineral only, which consists of 9 dragoons, 1 zealot, and 2 templars. More acid and and phase disrupter shots fly when these units collide, with Nimrod winning, despite reinforcing his 12 hydras with 6 more during the battle. Nimrod only lost 3 dragoons through this, because of that spell everyone likes to use and hates it when used against them, psi storm.

During that, Nimrod puts up a nexus at the 6:00 natural, and then build 2 pylons, 2 gateways, and 2 cannons at the 6:00 mineral only natural. Ghost sends in another wave of 12 hydras, but this attack is successful in clearing out the 3:00 mineral only, although all of Ghost's hydra's die. Nimrod retreats 5 dragoons during this fight to his mineral only. These goons are then attacked by 6 cracklings. The cracklings fail to do any real damage to the goons.

Nimrod moved his goons back to the 6:00 mineral-only, along with a templar and 2 zealots. These units were soon contested by a wave of 12 hydras, which were quickly stormed and then attacked with phase disrupter fire from dragoons.

Something other than Hydralisks...

Anyway, after another 12 hydra vs 12 dragoon + 4 zealot + 3 templar battle (guess who won that one?) which fails to do anything, Nimrod moves a templar and 4 zealots up the 3:00 ramp, which is undefended. Ghost then attack-moves 10 cracklings down to the occupied 3:00 mineral-only, but they are intercepted by Nimrod's small squad. The zealots win, but their numbers are reduced to 2 zealots because of a (gay?) suicide storm. At about this time, Nimrod starts on a nexus at the 6:00 mineral-only and the 6:00 natural.

Next came another bloody battle (no surprise because of Zerg) between 14 dragoons, 2 templars, and an archon against 12 cracklings and about 10 hydras. Things die, such as Ghost's whole attack squad, but Nimrod only loses 3 dragoons and a templar. This fight was worthy of a pretty screenshot.

The next attack was made by (also no surprise) Ghost, figuring out that his hydras die quick to goons and storms, sending in 18 lings, managing to kill 2 or 3 more goons. My thoughts on this fight was "suicide".

Now Nimrod moves 6 dragoons, a zealot, and an archon (it is be safe to assume Nimrod's zealots have track shoes on) to Ghost's 3:00 main. This squad is first engaged by 5 or 6 hydras at the ramp, and not suprisingly, Ghost's hydras died, and Nimrod makes it up the ramp, but losses were high, as Nimrod lost 3 goons and his archon. He then proceeds to start razing the 3:00 main with 4 goons, and completes the job without too much trouble.

The next move is made by Ghost bypassing the 3:00 mineral-only to attack Nimrod's main with 12 hydras. Nimrod sees this and decides to move about half of the 3:00 force to his main and quell the attack. This stops the attack cold, with Nimrod suffering minimal losses (losses don't really matter anymore, now that Nimrod is cranking out of 6 gateways). Below is Ghost's response to his hydras dying (because the pics I got are pretty boring).

I then go back to Ghost's 3:00 main and watch Nimrod take down the rest of it with a few goons, a zealot, and a dark templar. After this attack is done doing its job, it is driven off by  lurker.  At about this time, Nimrod starts building a stargate a his 6:00 natural.

And at this time the 3:00 mineral-only consists of this.

Ghost decides to attack this with his usual 12 hydras. If you are not an idiot, you can easily figure which side won.

The very destructive, bloody (boring)end!!

Now, Ghost loads up 31 cracklings and a drone on 5 overlords . The drone is dropped at the 10:00 island expansion, and starts becoming a hatchery. Ghost then flies his ovies past Nimrod's 9:00 natural (which was about dry), and unloads his cargo at Nimrod's 9:00 main. At the same time, Nimrod moves his about a quarter of his 3:00 mineral-only force to his main, which is defended by 4 zealots and 2 dragoons at the 9:00 ramp, and the rest of that same force to attack Ghost's 12:00 natural and main. The results of the 31 crackling vs. many Protoss units battle is... well you guessed it, Nimrod wins it without too many losses, only Nimrod's nexus, assimilator, and cy core (Ghost wanted me to say he almost won with that pathetic doom drop). Nimrod then ravages the 12:00 main and natural, finds the 10:00 expansion as it hatches, and drops some units on to eliminate Ghost. I missed the start of Ghost's death because of the "doomed drop" (yes, GGs were exchanged).

Thanks

GG goes out to Ghost and Nimrod, thanks to Ghost for letting me report this game.  Thanks to Catcrap and all of you other spammers that have ruined Nohunters.

This has been a BW-suxproduction.
