Yeah I said that game earlier was my last one. I'm stupid. No one can go away from BW too far. I was in nohunters saying "lala" repeatedly until Dr.SpicyBallz (sorry that's not it, but its the closest I can come up with now) says somthing about my last game on BR.com. Blah blah, we get into a 1v1, here's the info.

Map: Lost Temple
Mind Twist, toss (chosen), 6:00
Dr.SpicyBallz (or whatever), toss (chosen), 9:00

I started with a pylon on 8, gateway on 9 and 11. I scouted him out with a probe (first spot I looked, cuz it was closest and I saw a probe running around) and saw him going for early gas with 1 gate, I saw no zealots. He commented with something like "do you know what I'm going to do?". I guessed reaver drops.

I sent my initial zealots to his base and began raping probes, I killed a 'gas gobbler' or two before my zel was killed, but soon 3 more followed and raped more peons. Here's where I lost. I opted for a cyber core and a 3rd gateway (I had thrown up an assimilator a while ago, don't remember when though).

I started cranking goons and zealots, stupidly harassing him more. I did no more damage, as he had 4 zealots blocking his ramp. I lost right there. Instead of putting up some cannons and setting goons by my probes, I kept attacking him, hoping to bother him.

I layed down a robo fac and got a support bay or whatever they're called, and started a reaver. I was planning on making a huge frontal assault and dropping reavers at the same time, but that mistake I made about the 3rd gate and constant harassment was stupid. I finally sent a probe up to the 3:00 and expanded, but it was too late as in came the reavers.

The rest was history. I had no large force at home, because I kept sending them 1 or 2 at a time to his base to die :( It was funny, the game was short, but it lasted 43 some minutes because I kept expanding as soon as I got the 400 min, ending up with about 5-8 destroyed expansions.

At the end he had like 16 reavers, and a 16 reaver drop on a little expansion is hilarious, I got 2 pics of that, but I don't know how to upload them. Can someone tell me how? I select "Yes, 2 images" then what?

The game ended when I had one pylon left and he allied with me and left.

Lessons learned:

-Scouting is essential. With one little probe I saw all of his plans, knowing how to counter. I didn't even have to send another one, I was sure he'd go reaver drop, plus zealots/goons were in there constantly.

-If you see a guy going reaver drop, get a forge and put up some cannons next to your probes!! Or at least set some dragoons next to your minerals to maybe kill the shuttle or the drop the shuttle brings.

-I was doing good until I decided to keep attacking when he had a pretty much solid defense. I would've won so easily if I expanded earlier while he was on the defensive/getting reavers with a beaten economy.

-I chatted with Ballz as he hunted down my endless # of expansions. I'm actually pretty good at BW, I just don't use what I know rite. If you know how to scout and how to respond to what people have, you're not all that bad.
