<>Ironically, this time I figured "Great, I got Protoss," as I'd been playing Zerg all day and thought it wouldn't work well. The expandaholic mentality, however, proved extremely helpful in this game.
I started off with building three more Probes, the third building a Pylon. I neglected to explore, however, and I had nine Probes with a Gateway building by the time I realized it. I decided to explore with a Zealot instead. At this point, white had already left complaining of totally nonexistent lag and saying his grandmother moves faster than this, to which I replied that she ought to enter the Olympics. Anyway... Once I got a Zealot together, I went to the 1:30 position, and sent her in a counterclockwise direction along the edge of the map. I found the extremely-nearby expansion, and sent a Probe to build a Nexus there. Sometime along here, I built an Assimilator and Cybernetics Core, deciding I wanted High and Dark Templars. I didn't find either opponent at this stage, and sent another Zealot in a clockwise direction. I also decided to take what would have been white's main base, attacking it for awhile with the Zealot until the new one came out. A Probe then took over the job, not destroying it until well after another expansion had been built in the upper left.
Something I neglected to mention was that at my main and both northern expansions, as well as all future ones, a Shield Battery, Dragoon, Dark Templar (eventually), and Photon Cannon were my defense squad. Most had Gateways as well.
There's not much to tell, as no one got into my base due to a squad of Dark Templar and Reavers, as well as no one knowing where I was most of the game. Also, I'm getting tired, even though this was my best game of the night.
Several times, I destroyed an expansion of green's in the very north, first with Carriers, then taking out a TON of Photon Cannons with a bunch of Reavers, then the Nexus, and finally with Carriers again, which made him be stuck with 11/1379 or something else like that which kept him from building up again.
Anyway, green took out orange before I got much of a chance to see what he was up to, though this battle in late game should be noted...
This was a major battle which took place in the skies over green's natural expansion. About eight orange BattleCruisers opened fire on my two protective Arbiters, which concealed several High Templar that could not get in range of the BattleCruisers. Instead, I Stasised them with one Arbiter, just before a Sci-Vessel EMPed the lot, which was then killed by a Psionic Storm. I then decided Feedback and maybe Mind Control would be the best way to deal with these, and merged two DTs into a DA. Shortly afterwards, a squad of green Carriers appeared ready to do battle with my army, and these were swiftly Stasised as well. I was then faced with the choice to either do battle with two armies at once (commenting somewhere along the line that I'm Germany, doing battle on two fronts at once. Green was later dubbed France, since most of the fighting took place on his land), or retreat. I opted to send in everybody, and took out a fair amount. My army was then lost to the Carriers and BattleCruisers. I took it as an "acceptable loss" and swiftly rebuilt a similar army, as by this point I had nearly all the expansions and had destroyed any non-naturals of theirs. I then held the army back, as neither opponent STILL knew where I was! The two did a great deal of battle, and eventually orange attacked some Dragoons with SCVs. I mind-controlled one, but he made SURE it didn't stay alive, even though it took a rather large army to do it. I nearly got a CC, but failed.
Orange had a lot of fun with Vulture Mines in this game, but not too much. ;)
