Well, well, well… look who's here. Ain't it a bunch of little kids sitting in front of your porn-filled monitors looking for some action? You've come to the right place. Tonight, I will tell you a story about two pretty good SC players who I'm sure most of you have heard about. The main characters of this story are Casper... and -Ta|on-. Ah, sound familiar, eh? Casper... is known pretty much for his frequent gay-parade and his skills, and -Ta|on- is known for just being gay and spamming the hell out of the channel every time he wants a game. Those two went head on the dreaded Lost Temple where the legend say has a hidden dash of every porn magazine imaginable and existed! (I bet Protophobic would do anything to search for that "Olsen Twins' Double Twit" magazine that he always have fantasized about… =] )
Ahem…back to the story, -Ta|on- and Casper... agreed to play on LT and they each randomed to their races. Casper... ended up with Protoss and -Ta|on- with the zerg. Imbalance, you say? Sure it exists, but only if the skill levels of each player are exactly the same. But when they differ in style of play, micro/macro ability, scouting, and understanding the flow of the game, you really can't tell who is better unless they go head on many times. Still, zerg sure have the advantage, doesn't it? Only time will tell…*wink *wink. =]
-Ta|on- had received his starting spot from random spot-generator and was "warped" at 3. Casper... had the position-hack and "found" him warped at 6. I was surely there, but I wasn't alone. There was another pretty known player werd~Protector saying stupid things then following everything other player's words with "rofl"s. The action finally ensued as the peons started to slowly cut away the super-hard minerals and depositing them for further usage.
For the first few minutes, the topic of the conversation was "spookage.". Apparently, POA has a thing for him and often talks about him with great reverence and admiration (maybe a little love also…=]). As all three players familiar with the plays of spookage. (-=fiend=-) talked furiously about his great plays and his philosophy of SC, I just sat there taking Screenshots cause I've never seen him play "for real". (I did obs a 3 game series with POA vs. -=fiend=-, but he doesn't want me to BR them. He played as if he didn't care, he wasn't aware that I was going to, and when I told him after around 200 SS that I was BR'ing him, he just said "no br".)
As the conversation subsided and as the economy started to flow, buildings were popping up. -Ta|on- went for a second hatchery right below the ramp, followed by a spawning pool at his main creep. Casper... knew that since most zerg go for early hatcheries or two, he made two gateways and a few pylons scattered about. Casper... continuously warped probes and zealots, and therefore had around 5 pylons before making a cybernetic core. He followed the core with the third gate, possibly trying to overrun the zerg with sheer powers of the zealots.
Hmm, you think Casper... should have attacked earlier before the zerg could have established position below the ramp? Well, you are right of course. I was just testing if you truly was worthy of playing SC or not =]. Anyway, when Casper... had 3 zealots out and fourth and maybe fifth one warping, he attacked with them. Unfortunately, -Ta|on-'s hatchery had finished morphing and actually had a finished creep colony AND around 6 zerglings waiting for him.
While crashing through the dense forest around the temple, two zealots of the three arrived slightly before the third. As the two zealots engaged with 6 zerglings, Casper... got the glimpse of additional zerglings being morphed, as well as sunken in transition. Casper... wisely retreated and zerg had gotten free shot at the natural. Casper... was in trouble, but could the toss prevail? Only time will tell…
The zealot count steadily increased as -Ta|on- had the natural under work. He forced one of the drones to transform into a hydra den and another into a hatchery above the ramp. Now he had 4 hatcheries available to pump more units and had resources in full force from two bases. When Casper...'s zealot count reached 10, he took all of them between the temple and -Ta|on-'s second hatchery.
As before, few arrived before the others and Casper... challenged the defense by taking 6 of them in. Casper... encountered around 10 zerglings and 4 hydra plus the preexisting sunken colony. He knew the natural was complete and knew how fast the zerg could bring about reinforcements. Once again, he retreated wisely. ![hehe, of the 6 that tested the defense, four of them had a piece of one hydra who danced with all those gentle boys without spitting at them once... =]](http://www.geocities.com/battlereporter/talonvscasp/hydradance.jpg)
Meanwhile, Casper... abandoned the zealots and started amassing dragoons from three gates. -Ta|on- has lost only hydra and 2 zerglings but he wanted money. A hatchery started to spawn at his mineral-only, as well as at 12's natural. He moved most of his forces (around 10 hydras and 10 zerglings) near his newly forming mineral-only hatchery and kept on the hydra count rising. Casper... sure didn't want to lose in resources but only now, after 11 dragoons and 10 zealots did he started the warpage (word?) of the nexus and a pylon at his natural.
Unfortunately for -Ta|on-, a stray zealot caught a glimpse of this new hatchery in progress at the mineral-only. With a farewell, Casper... attacked. 10 zealots and 11 dragoons all headed towards that little spot in the temple. The powerful forces met at the now-finished hatchery against 10 hydras and 10 zerglings. Although not yet speed-upgraded, the zealots took care of the zerglings and the goons did the same to the hydras. The psi-blades actually made a "gush" sound as the blood from the zerglings splattered outwards from the flesh wounds. The shield sizzled as the fatal acid slowly melted the outer-skeletons of the protoss forces. The photons fired by the now-melting dragoons penetrated through the soft carapace of the hydralisks. As the intestines flied through the air, some of them evaporated without even touching the ground as more and more photons cut through the atmosphere at the speed of light.

The machinery cranked, the beasts screamed, and the blade cut as the zerglings tried to claw their ways into the thin bodies of the zealots. But as the gruesome battle slowly came to a stop, the hatchery has fallen as well as most of the zerg forces. Protoss dragoons and zealots walked as blood from the dead beings stuck to the bottom-side of their appendages. It was one glorious day for the protoss.
Still, 8 dragoons and a few zealots remained. Casper... spotted the attempted expansion at 12's natural and sent his remaining zealots there as the rest of the dragoons with 2 reinforced ones attacked -Ta|on-'s natural.

Initially, there were only a handful of hydralisks waiting for them. But 4 hatcheries can produce units fairly quickly and -Ta|on- constently sent waves after waves of hydralisks and eventually forced the remaining dragoons to withdraw. With the natural at full blast and with 6 gateways, Casper... wasn't too shabby with making units either. He kept on pushing and pushing, but 4 hatcheries worth of units were still too much.

After a few waves of failed attemps, instead of wasting precious units in fighting a losing battle, he went to the 12's natural. He couldn’t finish the job lost time with a few zealots as few zerglings were hatched to dispatch them. The job was taken care of by many goons all in meanwhile Casper... warping a nexus at the mineral-only. -Ta|on- was smart. He knew that a lot of the protoss forces were in 12's natural and possibly on their way to the middle of the map to gain map control. So, he brought the now more than 10 hydralisks to attack. Few drones were waiting for them, but many more were stuck at 12's natural. 4 hatcheries kept on pouring units after units in taking care of the protoss and Casper... was forced to warp faster-warping zealots instead of his normal dragoons.

Bleh, his zealots weren't still upgraded in the speed-department and they couldn't help but observing the slaughter. Now, unspeeded zerglings met up with unspeeded zealots. The key was the presence of those 10 hydras and the battle was decided. The mineral-only fell as well as the natural. Protoss had no more income other than those in reserve. ![usually, probes could kill hydras if the numbers are small AND the probes outnumber hydras. but now if the total numbers are as great as these...hehe, it still was fun how casper managed to kill two hydras. =]](http://www.geocities.com/battlereporter/talonvscasp/asdf.jpg)
-Ta|on- still hadn't mined out his main, but he knew he has won…or so he thought. But not taking any chances, he brought two drones to make a hatchery each at the 6 main and its natural. Casper... now made some dragoons and had around 5. He used probes nicely to rid of the attackers and had a moment of silence for around 8 seconds. Ugh, more waves. This time mix of zerglings and hydras. It was over.
Casper... couldn't stop the waves and waves as -Ta|on- just pushed his way to victory combined with great timing and nice decisions.
GG.
Well, the zerg won possibly with the help of the "imbalance". We still don't know who is a better player of the two because -Ta|on- won. It just shows that IF Casper... is a better player than -Ta|on-, he isn't by much. Anyway, it was a fun game to observe and the momentum of the game switched twice. Not so typical protoss as no templars were warped, but still a great game.
Thanks to the two for letting me obs, and thanks for the nice comments they made in the game. So, not to disappoint them, I bring you the ENTIRE chat sequence that took in the game. =]
(well, maybe a sentence or two might have been omitted. I took excessive amount of SS wanting to make some animated-GIFs, but my program is being gay and not letting me…bleh, oh well.)
![i am finally able to make at least a poor-quality collages with PAINT and PSP.. WHEEEEE!!! =].. poa, no offense. i just thought it was funny..](http://www.geocities.com/battlereporter/talonvscasp/quote.jpg)

p.s-COMMENT!!! Oh, round-5 is still in the way. Not far off, but still around the corner. =]
