Melf starts at the 9:00 starting location with terran and gets a refinery on 8, then barracks, supply depot, factory, supply depot, and finally a starport. You will see why he chose this build order later in the report.

Chillax draws zerg at the 7:30 start position. He builds an overlord on 9, then expands to his natural expansion, then builds an extractor at his main base, then a lair upgrade at his main, then finally a hydralisk den.

I'm pretty sure I missed a few thing in the build orders, because of a few quotes said by the players.

First blood comes when Chillax finds a few of Melf's vultures and marines stationed at his choke point with about 4 zerglings. Because Melf has about 8 marines and 4 vultures there, he wins with ease, losing only 1 marine. Melf decides to take his attention away from the troops stationed at Chillax's choke and unloads 4 marines and 2 vultures. Chillax sees the little yellow dot in his minimap and moves a few hydras he hatched to defend the infiltration of his "defenses" (basically the mining drones). Although a few drones are lost fighting off the last marines, Chillax didn't lose too much from that attack.

Melf starts a tank push after winning the above fight. He destroys 4 sunkens placed at Chillax's natural with 3 tanks. After Melf is through razing the defenses placed by Chillax and killing his resistance to the push, which manages to take down one siege tank by the way, Chillax takes all of his little zerg warriors in a last stand because Chillax knows that he is in deep shit at the moment. Melf moves his marine backup into the fray, but they live short lives as a lurker is burrowed beside them. After most of the marines die, Chillax sends in zerglings to mop up the tanks as the marines move into a more strategic position where they can have a little more effect. Although Melf did moved those marines, he had to start a full scale retreat with 2 tanks, 3 marines, and a vulture left in working/living condition. So, Chillax chases the squadron with lurkers and zerglings. Of course, the few zerglings don't make it to the tanks, but draw their fire so that the lurkers can burrow safely and get a few shots off before they get spotted. All but one lurker die from this chase.

Chillax, now free from the frontal siege, moves an attack force of lurkers, hydralisks, and zerglings to combat Melf at his front lines. Of course, Melf knows about the zerg raiders coming and sets up whatever makeshift defenses he can to defend what he has, which is basically putting a tank into siege mode and moving other units strategically. So, Chillax does a full-on assault and manages to get 8 lurkers burrowed. Now even at my low skill level, I know that 8 lurkers, with or without detection, is a formidable force.  But, this attack squad is whittled down to 4 lurkers from tank fire and irridiates. Chillax arrives with zergling reinforcements, while Melf moves in wraith defenders. A lurker dies, then another, but the cracklings keep pounding away at the terran structures. Pretty soon, Melf is forced to lift off whatever he can. Seeing this bleak moment, Melf lscreams a few obscenities and leaves the game, although he could have easily beaten back this attack.

- Don't try new things when you know you're going to be featured in a battle report.
- Mix medics in with infantry and tanks.
- Don't be an idiot and play on Hunters.
- Never give up when you have a well-established expansion.
