My First Game Back

Well being bored and all and noticing that you all are right about not being able to play StarCraft I decided to Install it and play a few games.Why are u people almost always right????? Oh well I decided to join a game and found it on Desert Temple. I hope the pics work too.


Vital Stats

I started by NOT cloning my probes since I couldn't get all 4 of them to the different patches fast enough so I selected 2 at a time and sent them to the minerals. I got 7/9 production and built a pylon at my ramp and scouted when I hit 9/17 I built 2 gateways and once I had enough money another pylon and a forge. I set up adequate defense with about 3 cannons I started to make zealots. Once I had about 5 zealots I started the ground weapon upgrade.



Once my minerals were starting to shrink I started my expansion at my natural protecting it with about 14 zealots. At my main base I started to tech and got a Citadel of Adun and Robotics Facility. Than an Observeratory and Templar Archives. I was hoping I could overrun Enemy with Zealots and Templars but throughout the whole game I only got about 4 Templars with storm. Than Enemy attacked with about 2 control groups of hydras and 1 control group of Zerglings and 4 Lurkers. I had about 18 zealots and 2 Templars and 1 observer. I sent them to attack while morphing the 2 Templars into Archons. I didn't need the Archon because my attack upgrade just finished.



After I cleared out his force I sent my remaining zealots and the Archon to his base. By dumb luck I actually cleared out his 4 Sunkens and 24 Zerglings and still managed to kill all the Drones except 4.



I started to make more zealots and upgraded Zealot Speed and Storm.... I made about 2 Templars and 24 zealots with speed and 0/1/2 upgrades. I sent them to attack and finally overrun him. I knew how long it would take to kill the larvae and I didn't want him to get reinforcing units while I was attacking him so just for the hell of it I stormed his Larvae. No pic though =(



After clearing out his base I went around searching for his expansions and found one at 12'o clock expansion and one at his natural a while later. Than after destroying his bases the last building of his for me to destroy was the extractor. He didn't leave till I killed the extractor and I said gg.



After previewing it I noticed my heading was on the little white bar at the side and how did I get the white bar anyway???? Well this was a half decent report and hopefully you people here at BR.com don't get mad at me for posting another one of my reports.
