A word on Hacking and my time on B.net:

I hate hackers. If you hack...I dont like you much. I believe that 80% of the people on b.net hack, if not more. I am willing to bet that a few people who goto nohunters hack as well. Although they would never admit it. I usually catch 1 or 2 hackers a day. Just before I played this game im reporting, I joined a 1v1 game. He was 14-1, and either he played alot of comp games, or he was maphacking. Believe me, even the best lose. We start the game and I immediately give him vision, he says nothing. After 30 seconds I tell him what I did, said "fuck you...", and left. He then messaged me calling me a newbie. Fine by me.

  |::| vs Ziegher
(2 no-name people who arent that great.)

I made my usual 1v1 temple game and waited for about 5 minutes. Finally a guy by the name of Ziegher comes in. I had won 2 out of my two games today and I was feeling good. His stats came up and it was 533-350-29. Although I know that stats dont matter much, I do know that in those 800 games he had played, he must have developed some skill.

Map: Lost Temple
|::| (selected brown Terran) - 12 O'Clock
Zeigher (randomed teal Terran) - 6 O'Clock

I start off by building a depot at my choke with my 8th scv following up wth a barracks at my choke with my 10th scv. When my deopt was done, I scouted with my scv clowckwise and found him at 6. He wasnt walling in and instead of walking through his base, I brought him back and held him at the 3 spot.

I built an assimilator with my 14th scv and finished the wall-in with my scv that finished the barracks. I followed that up with 2 facotries. When my first factory was done, I made a starport, while making constant vultures and upgrading mines for them.

I had about 5 or 6 vultures when I finished the add-on for my starport. I then made 1 dropship and brought it down to his base. I dropped them off near his scv's and started attacking them. I took one vulture off the attack and laid mines around the area. He brought in a tank soon afterwards and took out the threat, but lost valuable mining time and 6 or 7 scv's.

I wasnt doing diddly-squat while this was happening, as that threat was removed, I had been making wraiths and tanks. I bought the dropship back and filled it with a tank, a vulture, and 2 scv's. I brought it over to his ledge and plopped down my guys. I first built 2 turrets and laid down mines. I sieged up the tank and started to wreak havoc.

It was about this time when he accused me of hacking. I took a screenshot soon afterwards to clear things up and asked if he would like me to send it to him. He never replied. I took that as a no. (*note: If you accuse me of hacking, just give me your email address. I always take a pic of the game just in case of that.)

Remember those scv's I sent to 3 and 9? Well they were still there and I noticed an excess amount of money laying around. I started working on 2 command centers at each.

Of coarse when I scanned his base, I noticed he was gathering a large amount of wraiths. The one problem i have is that I always forget to defend my main from air raids. I always have a few wraiths for drops, but never for an air raid. Instead, I started building turrets at my expansions, while making factories at the 9 spot, and starports at the 3.

So what was I babbling about when I said I dont defend my main too well? Well his wraiths went straight there and started blowing my thing away. I made turrets whereever I could, and also made goliaths out of the 4 factories in my main. He blew up a few depots, but soon after my goliaths came out. He retreated to over my natural's cliff. But I had already started another expansion there, and he was welcomed to a few more turrets. He was able to get over there, only losing like 2 wraiths.

Around this time, he had snuck a dropship with two tanks over his cliff to take out the threat still lying there. Remember those mines? 1 word...Boom?

He sent a few more wraiths over to help the other ones stationed over my natural's cliff, but unfortunately, he passed the base at the 3 spot and lost almost all of them. I noticed a short pause, and the words, "Ziegher has left the game"

I had come out victorious. After the game had finished, he messaged me saying he hadnt played in a while. I asked him again if he wanted me to send him the screenshot, but he didnt say anything. He did ask if I was a terran only user, I told him yes and then I left.

The game's miscellaneous crap:

1. I only upgraded my tanks + goliaths attack once. I dont see the need to waste my money when I am dominating the map. You will see what I mean when you see the pic. I had complete map control.
2. I do not like to go wraiths in a terran match, although most people do. I like to make alot of turrets around the map, and use a goliath/tank combo. That way i dont have to worry about not having cloak detection, and its a real bitch to get around the map if you are going mass wraiths. It may look like a newbie strat, but it works, so I could care less.
3. Vulture drops can do wonders in a match, as well as piss the other player off.

Other things you dont want to know:

1. I listen to Xenogears music or Final Fantasy 8 music while playing. It helps me concentrate more.
2. I've had the shits for days after eating chinese food.
3. Im not wearing anything while typing. 8==>

I may have missed a few things here and there, but you have to remember I wasnt observing, I was playing.

Here is that pic I was telling you about.
