Lifetime Rating for UpgradedKakaru: 5.8000 |  | we were sitting around and talking in channel nohunters, when (=Blank=) challenged Ball_tongue to a 1v1. The new ladder map "Winter conquest" was agreed upon. Cakemix, Kitja and me asked to watch, and they both said ok.
(wow they are sooo pouplar :)
Blank was zerg, and spawned at 2:00
Ball_tongue was terran and landed his command center at 4:00
They both went for pretty standard build orders, Blank spawning a pool with the 7th drone, and Ball constructing 2 rax with the 9th and 13th scvs. None of them went for early gas.
After exchanging a few jokes, the -action packed- game got tremendously exciting. Blank rushed with a few early lings, but was easily countered thanks to the nice choke Ball has set up. A few minutes later, Ball decided to counter with a few marines ( 8 or 10), but Blank's lurks took them down instantly.
At this point, the game was stuck for about 5-10 minutes, as Ball grabbed the natural expansion located just under the ramp leading to his main, and Blank invaded with creep the 12 oclock starting position.
But ball had managed to get a sweep built, and found out about blank's expansion. In a few seconds, it died under the raoring fire od stim packs and among the desperate cries of sweeped lurkers :)
Now Ball really had a great mineral advantage, since he had by the time grabbed the 6 oclock start location. At this point of the game, I was convinced he would win. He also had gols, tanks and m&m , to defend his income.
However, Blank quickly dropped 12 hydras at balls 6:00 expansion. It was gone . Then Blank expanded at the 12:00.
Ball decided to grab the middle expansion.
I would like to make a short brake to point out that a lot of the fun in this game was by talking. MAny jokes were said. At some point, one of the observers ( i think it was Kijita started writing Nuclear launch detected) ohohoho he is sooooo funny =p . Oh well, anyway hehe.
The game actually was followed by a few boring drops :) Feeling sleepy, i then asked the players if i could build a bit. They said ok: soon , i had 30+ marines which i sent to Blank ( it didnt troublke the game because Ball was virtually dead) just for the fiun of it. Finally, after killing his exwpansion, he got my rines and forced me to surrender ( we actually all allied :)
Meanwhile, an epic scv chased had begun in my base. Cakemix, another watcher, probably jealous of my GREAT :) buildup, started to do some sabotage, especially by attacking my command center. He got stuck in a choke, and was killed after a 10 min chase :)
I hope you enjoyed this report more than i enjoyed this sucky game MUhahahah. j/k it was fun

P.S: Let me get this mssg through: For many years, Kakarus have been persecuted in the twilight tileset by angry marines and hydras. As a result of this holocaust, i am the only remaining Kakaru . Plz unite to save the KAKARU BROOD:)
