Hello and thanks for deciding to open up another Eradicate~Me battlereport. Now speculation over whether Wangsonn is the "Greatest" FFA'ler in Nh is still undecided, although don't count him out of a 1v1. He still can gosu his way out of anything, and his micro can even compare to some of ..(Myst)..’s. Although his opponent, weighing in at 456 pounds! T_Mac! This guy if you don't know is a god at bunker command. I've played at least 10 times with him and he always seems to get purple and humiliate anyone else attending the game. None of this however, means he is a complete UMS'er, as you'll soon find out. My first BattleReport included this player where he beat a truely challenging player by the name of Basic. So both of these contestants may be known for some other type of game better than 1v1, but they still can duke it out till the finish.
Anyways there was a game 1, but I mysteriosly got dropped and went back to the channel with my hopes down. But to my surprise I saw in the log that both T_Mac and Wangsonn were waiting for me. They must really wanted to get Br’ed, so I had to make this a good one. Anyways there was chit-chat over how T_Mac won. He really didn’t obviously, the end stats must have had him ahead. Some of the chit-chat included Wang’s comedy.

Wang’s talented. So after the commentary from everyone in the channel was over, someone created the game. I forgot who, I think it was Wang and his capitalized WANG/WANG titles for ffa’s that he spams utterlessly throughout the Nh channel until the game has accepted everyone. This however, was no FFA on the beloved Winter Conquest, Wheel of War, and sometimes even BGH, this was a 1v1 on the Brood War ladder map,"Fading Realm". This particular map was another victim of Bob’s to be transformed into an observer map. With the two contestants slots filled by Wangsonn and T_Mac, the others who entered took an Observing slot in hopes of watching a good game. Anyways both players decided to random there fate and watched the countdown initiate and their attention drawn to a screen with no briefing data. Seconds later they got to see their race as Wangsonn randomed to Blue Terran in the southeastern part of the twilighted terrain, while T_Mac randomed to Orange Protoss in the northwestern most part of the map.

After doing their best to clone their workers to victory they do this thing called a "Build Order". Wang goes 5,6,7 scv then a depot, followed by scv numbers 8 and 9, then building a structure that some may refer to as a "Rax". The SCV numbers increase to 12 and are beheld against a challenge of wraping natral gas in a plastic container and rushing it to a nearby Command Center all in under 5 seconds. In other words Wang built a Refinery. T_Mac on the other hand, is Protoss! He duplicates Wang‘s farm build by going 5,6,7 workers then a Pylon. The Probe count increases to 9, and one brave Probe faced the task of warping in an Assimilator. The pylon finishes and the Nexus light blinks rapidly as the assembly line dishes out 2 more probes. Then . T_Mac builds a Gateway. Now that that’s over, I can begin to explain more meaningful events. Wang now with his “Rax’ finished, queues 2 marines while T_Mac warps down a Cybernobics Core. T_Mac‘s scouting probe runs into 2 marines, but sees that Wang is teching fast. He is, an SCV is working on a Factory.

T_Mac, with a functional Gateway produces a Dragoon, while a Probe places another Gateway. Wang‘s Marine count slowly increases to 3 while the Factory finishes. Without hesitation he quickly adds-on a Machine Shop, while at the same time orders an SCV to build a Starport. T_Mac however, is massing Goons out of 2 Gates, which the numers now stand at 5 with range upgrading in the Cybernobics Core. Wang meanwhile, now has 7 marines backed up by a Tank and a Starport/Control Tower. The Machine Shop’s gears are rotating furiously to give the tank a special element known as Siege.T_Mac now has 7 Goons and a Robotics Facility on its way to being complete. Wang now has 2 Tanks with Siege upgraded, and something else just got added into the mix, a Dropship. Wasting no time Wang loads up the ship with both of his Tanks and heads en route to T_Mac‘s main. Wang‘s Dropship reaching its designation unloads the 2 tanks onto a ridge to the south of T_Mac‘s main seperated by a channel of water. The 2 Tanks Siege and begin to pound into the Probes taking in gas along with a Forge that just warped in(Pic 1). T_Mac, obviously noticing this loads 2 goons into a just arriving Shuttle and drops 1 of them on top of the Tanks while deciding to drop the other on the ledge behind them(2). Fanticly the Tanks try to unsiege but get mercilessly removed by the 2 Goons(3).

During all this, T_Mac, is sending his group consisting of 7 Goons to his oppenents main which now only has about 10 rines, and 2 tanks. T_Mac, before attacking expands to the outpost at the far right hand corner of the map. After accomplishing that task T_Mac then assembles his Goons into a verticle line. Seconds later the Goons charge towards the horde of guass fire of several Marines. Although the range of the Goons forces the Marine horde to drop like flies, only picking off 1 Goon(pic1). The Goon squad begins to get pelted by 2 Tanks. The Goons fire into the Tanks but Wang wisely using his SCV’s, repairs the Tanks and not one is lost to the Phase Disruptors fire, as the Goons retreat(2). T_Mac brings his Shuttle over to the Goon assortment and loads up 2 valiant warriors (goons) and flys them over Wang‘s base and drops them right underneath the Factory. The Goons might have gotten 2 shots off before getting raped(3 & 4). The rest of the Goons charge the base(5) but can’t focus fire on the Tanks. The reason for this is because their entry is blocked by a CC(not the original one). Although the Goons have amazing luck, as Wang lifts the CC and literally invites the Goons in(6). Now while this is taking place Wang is screaming words like "FJADS", "KHDS", and "KFDAG". In other words I don’t think he meant to lift the CC. But it didn’t really make much of a difference, all Wang did was take all his SCV’s and repair the Tanks while they pick off the Goons. He does this and it limits the 6 Goons down to 3. T_Mac gradually moves his remaining Goons out of Tank fire and begins to tear into the northern part of the main, which only contains an SCV. Wang, however has a Science Vessel and D-Matrixes the SCV(7). This causes nearly everyone attending the game to laugh hysterically while the SCV kills 1 Goon while a couple of just arriving Rines pick off the last one(8).

T_Mac now begins to focus on his expansion which consists of 2 warping Gateways, a Forge, 2 Pylons, a warping Assimilator, and more than enough probes. Wang, still without an expansion, a decent economy, or any sign of something right going on, still is beginning an army. He still has his Dropship and is producing tanks, marines, and now has 2 much needed Bunkers acting as a Citadel in front of his crippled main. T_Mac, however is looking very good, his 2 Gateways have now finished and is now rallying Goons to the center of the map out of 4 Gateways. He also is increasing his economy, with a Robotics Support Bay Warping in.

T_Mac also decides to expand the lower left hand corner of the map. With eight Dragoons in the center of the map T_Mac feels confident enough to attack again. As soon as the Robotics Support Bay concludes its destination from Aiur to the map, T_Mac queus 2 Reavers in the Robotics Facility and sits in wait. Wang, on the other hand is still recovering from the last battle. Although don’t count him out, he’s been known to come back from deficits like this before. He now has 6 Tanks and a considerable ammount of Marines. T_Mac‘s patience has paid off, however, he now commands a Shuttle with 2 Reavers contained inside its massive hulls. The Shuttle guides its way through the map and hovers over his assailants mineral line. The 2 Reavers pop out and begin to open a "Reaver Can" on the defensless SCV’s. Wang, on the other hand noticed the expansion in the lower left corner occupied by T_Mac, and had his army marching towards the particular outpost. Wang does a complete U-Turn when he sees his supply numbers droping rapidly to to the SCV’s getting brutally raped(Pic 1). Although Wang reinforces his crippled main with a couple Tanks that shoot arcilate cannon shards through the air and land on their targets, kinda cool huh? Anyways the Tanks lay waste onto 1 of the Reavers(2) followed by the third seconds later(3).This isn’t exactly a win for Wang, considering he lost all but a couple SCV’s.

Now with the upper advantage, T_Mac, once again rallys his army (mainly goons) to the center of the map. Wang however, doesn’t waste any time to still pose as a threat. He myriads a group of three Tanks, 10 or more Rines, three SCV’s, and a Science Vessel. But before attacking with that force, he sends a Dropship containing 3 Rines and an SCV. Why he did this, I don’t know, but it spoiled the chance of a surprise attack. Thus he unloads the SCV backed up by 3 Rines and they do absolutely nothing, except die to a Photon Cannon and cause T_Mac to send his center squadron of Goons to the defend the Protoss outpost. Although Wang never saw the move, he attacks with his main force not knowing that his foe has reinforced the barron expansion with a large number of Goons. Wang however, attacks and doesn’t have much of a prayer. He leads the attack with his Rines that march single file into a volley of Phase Disruptor fire and then decides to siege his three remaining Tanks(Pic 1). The SCV’s serve next to no importance while the Tanks take heavy hits, although a D-Matrixed Tank probally would be more effective, Wang decides to D-Matrix a Marine, while at the same time an SCV begins construction on a Bunker right in the myst of the battle, don’t ask(2). Mainly the rest of the battle is a landslide, the Bunker is of no use and consiquencly enough, the D-Matrixed Rine dies in a matter of seconds(3). Nonetheless the battle is not a major loss for Wang, I mean he still controls..well nothing. It is only a matter of time before his main falls faster than Kennedy did, when he bit the bullet.

Without a chance in heaven or hell, Wang says an early "GG." following this battle. The rest of the game is mainly a blowout, with all attention now focused on 1 base (With little defense) the game surley enough belongs to T_Mac. To make a short and relativly easy story on T_Mac‘s part whithout offending Wang, well..actually there’s no real way of not saying the words, “He got crushed and/or mauled, raped, yak, yak, yak ect. Anyways once T_Mac‘s force is large enough he storms into the bare main only taking a few casualties from 2 Tanks and a couple Rines. Soon enough the main is uprooted thus giving the game to T_Mac.

Stats-Total Score
