Anyways, I was hanging out in NoHunters as asual, and I decided to TRY and report about a battle.
The match featured Ling-erie vs. Holy_Polock, on...
The Lost Temple
Ling-erie randommed Zerg and ended up at the 12:00 location. And Holy_Polock randommed Protoss at the 3:00 location. Now that we know everyone's color, race, and starting location, let's get started!
Ling-erie's Build Order: Overlord, Spawning Pool, Extractor, A Hatchery at mineral only, a second Hatchery at main, a creep colony, and a Hydralisk Den.
Holy_Polock's Build Order: pylon, gateway, pylon, gateway, pylon, gateway, assimilator, and a cybernetics core.
The first bit of action began when Holy_Polock sent 3 zealots, 3 probes to Ling-erie's base, with Ling-erie got another sunken and started morphing his hatchery into a Lair.
Holy_Polock sent 5 more zealots, and 3 more probes to Ling-erie's base. But that proved to be useless, as they were quickly wasted. He sent 3 more zealots up ramp (wonder when he is going to stop) and after he saw what awaited them, he quickly ran them away.
Ling-erie expanded to his natural and Holy_Polock began the construction of a stargate, and expanded to his natural, then constructed another stargate. He then built two corsairs.
Holy_Polock sent his two newly built corsairs to assault Ling-erie's overlords. Ling-erie's hyralisks defended the overlords, and at the same (i think) sent 12 zerglings, and 5 hydras outside Holy_Polock's base, and morphed his hydras into lurkers (probably knowing that Holy_Polock didn't have any detection.)
Reinforcement corsairs from Holy_Polock decided to overolord hunting as well.
Ling-erie sends his lurkers to Holy_Polock's base and burrows them directly under Holy_Polock's zealots that are guarding the ramp. His 12 zeglings attack Holy_Polock's natural. Ling-erie gosu leap-frogs his lurkers and upon entering Holy_Polock's base. He sends a lurker to the back of his base and burrows it near the pylons, gateways, and stargates.The rest of the lurkers start attacking the worker (peon) line. In a last ditch effort Holy_Polock warps in a few cannons, but they are destroyed by Holy_Polock leaves the game.
AND THE WINNER IS LING-ERIE! CONGRATULATIONS LING!!!!!
