Warning - Battle Report is extremely picture heavy. Those with 56k may choke due to lack of needed bandwith. In this situation I suggest you go to www.sperel.com and play "Find the Sperel", and also "Find the Sperel 2". It should keep one occupied for many, many hours. It did for me.

One Saturday afternoon, I was up on Battle.net looking for a game. I had left my most recent clan because all of it's members were mad at me for playing a few friendly games with the enemy clan. I couldnt play games with any of the clan members anymore, and I couldnt bash into clan x17, so I went and played a pubbie game.

It was a 2v2 on the most overplayed map next to Hunters and it's many clones, Lost Temple. I had randomed to Purple Protoss at 9:00, and my ally, kill1999, had also gone random, and was blessed with a Teal Terran Command Center that landed at 12:00.

blu2000 had recieved a bright yellow hatchery at the 3:00 spot, and WarSongs also had a blooming red zerg base being started at the 6:00.

Seeing that both of my opponents were zerg(because of their scouting overlords), I started with a basic protoss build, going with a pylon at 8, and double gates at 9 and 10. I planned on massing zealots and getting some corsair support.
kill1999 went with a depot at 8, and two rax at the choke, completing a wall-in. Most likely going with m&m.
blu2000 built an overlord at 8, a hatchery at 9, then a spawn pool and extractor.
WarSongs proceeded to build a spawn pool at 9, an overlord, then an extractor.

For a while, it was quiet. No one rushed, and we all proceeded to tech torwards our own units. Me going for zealots and corsairs, kill1999 with m&ms and tanks, blu2000 with mutas and lings, and WarSongs with lurkers.

About 6 minutes into the game, I had been pumping lots out of 3 gates, and had a cyber core, forge, and a citadel of adun being warped. Thinking ahead, I built a few cannons around my mining area. This saved me from a probe rape from blu2000's mutas that came just around a minute later.

Those mutas flew right back over to their bright yellow base and regrouped with about 3 more of their kind. They flapped their way over to the rear of kill1999's base, hoping he wasn't as protected as I was. Also, WarSongs wanted to join in the fun, and sent two lurkers into the front of my ally's base. They both attacked at the same time, and a fierce, bloody battle ensued. Marines wobbled and weaved to avoid the lurker spines, and glave wurms splashed all across the field. In the end, kill1999 was able to marine dance his way to victory.

While this was happening, I was just sitting home, powering. I had a nice amount of zealots, and several corsairs. An attempt at harassing several overlords at WarSongs' base was denied by several hydralisks and a few spores. I expanded to my natural, and was setting up some cannons for defence, when a huge swarm of zerglings controlled by blu2000 came to try and overtake me. They were soon accompanied by a few lurkers from WarSongs and several mutas.

I was able to successfuly save myself from that mass swarm of zerg, but I had lost alot of units. If an attack like that came again, I would most likely be defeated.

kill1999 had camped a nice amount of M&M at blu2000's choke, and was starting to penetrate a hole through his defence. The mining at his natural was also put at a standstill due to my ally's science vessels wreaking havok.

After that though, WarSongs came and spoiled the fun with a few lurkers.

kill1999 reinforced his containment with a new batch of m&m, while WarSongs prepared a huge drop for one of us. At the same time, my ally charged into blu2000's base, while WarSongs commenced to dropping right in kill1999's main.

blu2000's natural had been taken over by my ally's m&m force, but that drop by WarSongs took out a large chunk of kill1999's main. He quickly brought some m&m over which took care of the zerglings and hydras, and pumped out a tank to deal with the 2 lurkers or so.

I brought over about 10 zealots to rally with my ally's m&m force at blu2000's natural. We then charged up the ramp, to find minimal forces there for us to deal with. Just a few control groups that were easily dealt with, and some spare mutas and maybe a lurker. blu2000 was now out of the game, and after seeing that his constant chanting of "GG RE???" would bring no response, he promptly left.

We then massed all of our units at WarSongs min only.

Our forces charged valiantly into the enemy's natural. We encountered many many lurkers, and it sent many of my zealots back to Aiur. In the end though, we were able to take the natural. All that was left was to take WarSongs main, and this game was ours.

After a few minutes of me gathering more zealots, and my ally getting more m&m, we sent all of our units right up the enemy's choke. There were even more lurkers there, and alot of hydras. Medics healed as fast as they could, while lurkers shot out more and more of their underground spines. After losing many many units, we finally came out on top, and WarSongs then left the game.

I played pretty good this game, but I'm pretty sure I would have gotten owned if I faced any of my enemies 1v1. This is my first battlereport, so constructive critiscism(sp?) is wanted. Since I saw how Weirdo_From_Space got flamed oh so badly for stealing his first comment, I'll leave that space for some lucky BR.com'er to grab.
