Hi all and welcome to my second BR (the other was under the name Mr.Furios). I have been a long time Protoss player but just a couple of hours ago I decided to give terran a shot. After reading a few Heartcutter BR?s and watching some Boxer reps I felt I had learned all I could and that it was time to play some SC.

The first game I played was against a gentlemen by the name of Jane[i]Know. I selected Terran while Jane decided to let the Starcraft gods decide his fate.

I landed my CC at the 9:00 position and quickly got my base underway. I constructed my first depot as soon as I hit 9 supply. When it was half constructed I was greeted by an overlord coming from the 12:00 starting position. My enemy was zerg and I constructed my build order for an early marine rush with raxes on 11, 13 and 15 supply.

Once I has gathered a small squad of 5 marines I moved out, only to be caught in the open by 8 zerglings. My marines were ordered back to base where they met up with 2 reinforcing marines and scared those annoying lings away.

I arrived at his base with 10 marines to find a newly formed hatchery at his natural. My marines made short work of his defending zerglings with 3 losses to their number. With no more interference I razed the hatchery to the ground. I decided against pressing his choke however my marines decided to anyway while my attention was elsewhere.

I moved out again with a healthy squad of assorted MMF. As I arrived at his ramp my opponent decided to be gay and sent a small pack lings into my defenseless base. I was forced to use SCVs to drive them off.

My MMF squad attacked his choke and proceeded to raze 1 defending sunken before being slaughtered by a muta/ling combo.

Mid Game:

Jane starts things off here with some harassment in the form of 3 mutas before some marines drive them off.

In response to this I once again send a squad of MMF but on their way to my opponents base they are AMBUSHED by a pack of lings that were burrowed under ground. The lings killed a few marines before being barbecued by my firebats.

My MMF arrived at Janes base to be greeted by 4 lurkers. After losing a handful of marines I decide to exercise the better part of valor and make like a bullet stuck in the rear end of a bat outta hell!

I quickly build another turret at my choke, construct a factory while continuing MMF production. Things go uncomfortably quiet as both of us take time to make preparations for the upcoming fight. I build a starport and a science facility and begin construction of science vessels.

I move out once my army contains 2 tanks, a science vessel and several squads of assorted MMF. My army clashes with around 7 lurkers and a large contingent of hydralisks. Lots of blood is spilt on both sides with my army coming out on top after heavy casualties to my infantry force.

After this battle I expand to my natural before pressing onwards, I also send a scouting marine to both the 6:00 and 9:00 start locations.

I begin to lay siege to Janes main base when my scout picks up a disturbance in the force, Jane has expanded to the 9:00 natural. After razing the hatchery holding the choke at his main base I send a science vessel ahead to find 7 lurkers and a pack of hydralisks lying in wait. I irradiate 1 lurker then pack up my tanks and send my infantry to the 9:00 natural to deal with this new expansion.

While my army is moving out Jane tries to play funny buggers by moving lurkers into my mineral patch?they are terminated with EXTREME prejudice.

The hammer drops on Janes 9:00 expansion and my army tears up everything in sight and proceded onwards to the 9:00 main where a new expansion had just came online. It was also ELIMINATED!

Late Game:

Once again Jane tries to play funny buggers with me and attack my natural with 7 lurkers and a handful of hydralisks. Jane takes care of my standing army and proceeds to be gay and kill some SCV?s before reinforcements arrive and deal with the threat.

At this point in time I?m getting a teeny bit frustrated with my failure to end this game and decide to take action. I move my forces out and just as my army is leaving my natural a hydralisk catches my attention. I quickly turn my army around to catch Jane trying to play funny buggers AGAIN by attempting to sneak his army of lurkers and hydra into my base. Lets just say it didn?t get real far.

My victorious army heads off to Janes natural where it appears he has set up camp once again. Realizing that he lacks the necessary troops to save it he positions his troops at the top of his choke in a defensive position.

I pondered for a moment as to why he would so easily surrender his last mining expo until it hit me?.he had ANOTHER expo.

Yes old Janey boy was playing funny buggers once again. I dispatched scouts to the 6:00 and 9:00 bases respectively and struck gold at the 6:00 natural.

I squashed both his expansions at the 6:00 natural and main and even decided to play a fun?ol game of irradiate the science vessel and chase the helpless drones.

Realizing that he is screwed Jane admits defeat and we exchanged gg?s.

I would appreciate all your comments and praise (hopefully) and I would also like some tactical advise. If you guys like it I hope to make my quest to become good at terran an on going thing.

Thank you and goodnight, peace all!
