WARNING
We both went Random, and I ended up Zerg, at the northern start position. I decided I would try one of my extra special newbie strats, which was basically a...

...with a few minor differences to what you might expect. Firstly, I didn't expand right away. Instead I built a second Hatchery close to my initial one. I also made six Zerglings, two of which would be used for scouting purposes. For fun, lets name them Zerg~Ling, and Ling-erie. The Overlord I started with already scouted to the east.
The Zergling going west (Ling-erie) alerted me to my opponents own start point. Ling-erie was able to get through his wall-in, and far enough in, to get mowed down by combined Goliath Autocannon fire.

Now I didn't make those Lings right away, but that had seemed like awfully fast tech to me, for him to already have had several Goliath's on the scene.
We both knew our Locations now, my opponent having sent an SCV
into my main, and Zerg~Ling made it safely to the south position and waited there, to provide me with valuable expansion intel.
I had kept my other four Zerglings in my base for defense, and for later, were to help my Hydras re-landscape my opponents base. During my tech, I built three Sunken Colonies to stave off any early rushes. I also upgraded both Hatcheries to Lairs, so as to get faster Overlord movement and Loading capability as quickly as possible. Obviously, I had also built a Spawning Pool, and Hydra Den, as well. When the Hydra's Den completed, I upgraded their range and movement. Once all the necessary upgrades finished, I uploaded all my available Hydras, along with several pairs of Lings, and headed toward Metal's base.
Being the sneaky git that I am, I went to the far left edge of the map first. If he had went for early expansion at his natural, I might have dropped off a care-package of some Lings for him to deal with, while my main force proceeded on, to his main. He didn't though, and the Hydra drop went off like gangbusters.
He had a single Tank sieged there for defense, which fell quickly, and left me wondering, where was the rest off his stuff?
Well, the rest of his stuff was being shuttled to my Main! And, having been true to his name, he'd dropped off an assortment of Goliath's and Tanks, which had then directed their fire upon my nearly Hydra-free Home.
This was going to be a good game I thought! Luckily, I had loaded a Drone into an Overlord, and had him safely morphing into a Hatchery. Unluckily, it was the upper island expansion. And it didn't take my opponent long to find it, troop free, and ready to knick-knack-patty-whack! Probably I could have gone anywhere else and had at least chance of him not finding it, although even if I had, you must admit he could still have found it, and we could have ended up with the same result, still. Additionally, in a very gosu way, he waited to kill this expansion until he finished off the Hatch at my main, leaving me with a useless Hydra Den, and three Sunks. I had also finished off what I had thought to be his last remaining building.

However, unknown to me, he was able to lift a Barracks off in time, and float it north...
To be continued from, the Terran perspective... (:P aren't I a piece of shit)
