"Against this sort of power, the heroic Terran force is no match, and every marine goes down in a blaze of glory (while every medic sort of splits apart in an icky way, eeeew)." -greyhoundbus

My ally (Mufn.Aegis) and I (Mufn.Bumpma) are a pitiful arranged team duo. We are 2-12. Ironically we are both almost at level 10 on random team. Aegis enjoys playing NE, while I prefer the brutality of the Orcs.
Our opponents were 245Booya and 265Booya who chose NE and Undead, respectively (no respect for their gay names, though). They were level 6 team while we were level 2. Needless to say, Aegis and I were very intimidated. And so the game began on the most overplayed map of them all, The Lost Temple.
I started at the north base while Aegis started on the west. I quickly generated a farseer and 4 grunts and scourged the area for creeps. My ally chose a KOTG and 4 huntresses for his hunting party. We pretty much did all our creeping together, focusing on all the creeps in the middle. Luckilly we managed to clear the whole temple with only 2 casualties.
Meanwhile, the NE Booya had began to pump out huntresses under the command of their respected POTM and the UD Booya pumped out ghouls under the command of their not-quite-as-respected Death Knight. Surprisingly they never creeped, with the exception of UD killing off the creeps at his nearby goblin observatory, which dropped goblin land mines. Using them how they are best used, he ran into my base and dropped them on my barracks and town hall. Luckilly my peons escaped by taking shelter in the burrows, but I was still crippled.
I bring my party of my farseer (lvl 4) and grunts (now 1-1) back to my base, anticipating an early attack. I was right. 9 huntresses came up the front ramp while 12+ ghouls attacked from the right. "Crap you just got pincered," said Aegis, who always points out the obvious. "GET OVER HERE!" I yelled desparately. He had 10 huntresses (also 1-1) and a lvl 3 KOTG doing nothing in the middle of the map! He TPed with haste though, just in time to meet the enemy.
Luckilly good tower position and grunt dancing were able to destroy the ghouls, but the farseer fell victim to continous Death Coils from the Death Knight after getting to level 6. Aegis lost all his huntresses, while the NEbooya still had 3. NEbooya had some of the best micro I have ever seen. But with my 4 grunts coming to help Aegis's lvl 5 KOTG the battle soon fell in our favor. The lvl 3 Death Knight and lvl 3 POTM led their battered forces away.
Although we had won the battle, we were not winning the game. Both Booyas had expanded to their natural, and I had just finished rebuilding my main hall from the mine accident, and Aegis only now had begun his expansion. THe UD said something very dumb then. "we enjoyed playing with you just now," to which I replied "funny you enjoyed it seing as how you got your ass kicked just now." But seeing as how I was econimically in peril I decided to shut up and expand immediately.
Five minutes of silence passed. I had been able to expand and reach shamans with bloodlust. I had a second hero, my Tauren Chieftain, 5 shamans, 6 grunts and around 4 taurens. Aegis grew an army of huntresses and dryads, id say about 8 of each, along with his KOTG. We decided to attack, striking at the UD base in the southeast natural.
To our surprise it was completely unguarded. We ravaged, quickly resulting in reinforcements from the UD and NE mains. My bloodlust paid off, as well as purging the skeletons generated from UDBooya's Necromancer-only army (What was he thinking...?). NEBooya however had switched to mass bears, and his POTM was almost level 6! Luckilly Aegis entangled that bitch and killed her before she sent stars at us. I quickly then used my remaining taurens to clean up the bears.
To sum up 2 or so paragraphs of space, we promptly proceeded to kick UDBooya's ass.
UDBooya gave NEBooya 4000 gold and 2000 lumber (What the heck was he oding with all that is oblivious to me). He made 3 chimeara roosts and a LOT of Ancient Protectors. Since Aegis and I did not have a lot of casualties, we SHOULD have attacked straight after instead of waiting for reinforcements and going toe the moon wells to heal. By the time we attacked his expansion he had 7 protectors greeting us. Luckilly I had quake to destroy them. Soon his huge army of chimearas cried out bloody revenge for their lost treefriends. In response we cried out our battle cries and disamnteld them with our shamans and dryads, all bloodlusted. After that we promptly proceeded to kick HIS ass.
Thats it! We then became TWO and twelve, ending our losing streak. Aegis was as happy as a teenage boy in Playboy Mansion during Nudie Hour. I shared his enthuasism.
Lessons from this game:
1) NEVER save money too much. You can always utilize it to do something. If you have over a 1000 at any given time you are not doing enough.
2) I don't miss land mines. If you scout early, you can avoid gayness.
3) IF you have alot of bears, have something to support them.
4) Spread out your towers, or they will fall victim to such tortures as Earthquake.
5) It's better to attack, find out what they have, and adapt rather than to wait it out.
Thanks for reading! ~Bumpma
