Hi. I'm back. I don't know why I'm posting after a Decay AND Ling report, but I just am. To see Part 1, click here.

Fanfic: The Unexpected Colony, Part 2

"Guys, get your lazy asses movin'. Fast!"

It was the barking voice of Ikryoen that made the people groan and continue exercise. They were nearly ready to attack once they had consolidated their defenses and replenished supplies.

What they didn't know, however, that the secret colony that had been formed earlier was growing and growing. Commander Jake, the leader, soon opened communications with the two Zerg colonies.

"Hey. This is-"

"Who are you, little human?!?"

Jack chuckled. "I am Jack Oboe, leader of a rebel clan for the Terrans. We will help you in your efforts to remove the other Terrans from this planet."

"Okay then. Sounds fine to me."

"There's a condition."

"Go on."

"In exchange, you must not tell anyone about this place, and you will pay us 1000 minerals and 2000 gas."

"Okay. I agree, but on one condition."

"What?"

"What is in your underwear? You humans touch it all the time."

All the people in the speaking room, including Jack, laughed hard. "Well, either my brain is screwed, the translator is screwed, or the Cerebrate is screwed."

Alt-text is the best thing since sliced bread... maybe.

The Protoss were getting uneasy. Zerg kept smashing through their undeveloped and flimsy defenses every time they tried to be aggressive. The Terrans attempted to help them out, but to no avail: daily waves of attacks slowly wore down the Protoss defenses.

Finally, Ikryoen decided to open communications with Executor Dilih and 'have a chat'.

"Hi. Do you think that you have any reinforcements over-"

"Yes. It was just then that I ordered several dozen Carriers over this place. It should help us in our efforts to vanquish those evil Zerg,"

"Sure. Do you want to watch our regular Comsat sweep?"

"Okay then, seeing there is nothing else to do."

It was just then that communications were opening just next door. Seconds later, it revealed that there was an army of Overlords preparing to drop.

"Crap! Which way are they heading?" Ikryoen exclaimed.

Dilih laughed. "He. Look what we have here," pointing to a dozen Corsairs and Ikryoen's Valkyries. "That should do it."

Soon enough, the Overlords headed towards the main Terran Command Center. The Corsairs and Valkyries easily destoryed the Overlords and few units escaped. However...

"AH SHIT! Is that a Marine I see?"

"Hmm, maybe you're right. We'll send our inspectors over to check. Hopefully it's not."

It was. There was also a few more marines, a firebat or two and even a siege tank.

"Well, it either was those bastards that escaped months ago or...someone else."

"In any case, what are they up to?"

SC = War3. Nuff Said.

"Damnit!" exclaimed Unos to the other Cerebrate, Auralpistol.

"Not only that drop failed, they now know that I sided with you guys!" shouted Jake vehemently. "Have you found any new expansions yet?"

"Yes we have, one just above the area you scanned yesterday, and the other is just left to our failed drop area."

"Don't remind me of that one again. You have any units to secure that area?"

"200 mixed guardians and devourers, Jake."

"Sure. Thanks for your help."

"No problem. By the way, how does sex work again?"

Soon, in the near future, there will be our little grandsons playing Starcraft 6 or Warcraft 9. We say to them: "Son, in our days of Warcraft 1, there was no such thing as 'imbalance'.

Three months after the failed drop, things started to tense again. The offensive that the Terrans and Protoss launched worked, but at enormous costs for both sides. Both Zerg lost a huge chunk of their mains, but the Protoss lost nearly all their Carriers and lost all other air units. The Terrans lost everything they threw in, but the nukes did the work for them.

As for Jake's Terrans... well, they had grown to such an extent that they were a big threat. Ikryoen used most of his ComSat on his main and expansions, trying to find a weakness. But, try as he might, he couldn't execute any attack that was costly.

Daily waves against random places were easily held off by groups of cannons from Dilih, but they lacked a suitable combat plan.

The battle rages on...

Are fanfic dislikers/haters in the majority or minority?

Well, I hope you liked it this time. I'll be writing a real battlereport later.
