So, my loyal readers, I'm sorry about last time. I was drunk okay?
Forgive me! It's hard to write Battlereports while you're DRUNK!
I was hanging around Lurkerburger's house playing the two towers for
ps2. It was cool being Gimli, smashing orcs with an axe. I reccomend
renting it. Its a short game, but back to starcraft. I was hanging with
fearlessguy and he's like "hey you want to see a replay?" and of course
I went to see it. I saw only half of it and got disconnected so I saw
it and decided to report it because I didn't want to report a short game.
Fearlessguy(terran)
begins with
supply depot at 10, and then 15 scvs. Then he builds up a barracks and
lift-offs. He floats it to .Heeroyuy.
's twelve o' clock zerg main.
Fearlessguy
does something interesting with the barracks.
Fearlessguy
lands the barracks and makes two marines. He
runs to the zerg base and starts blasting some drones.
A creep colony was
already made, and
.Heeroyuy.
made it into a sunken. He distracted the marines with
a few drones, and the sunken was finished. The marines were anihalated
and the barracks floated back to
Fearlessguy
's main base.
.Heeroyuy.
decides to do a mutalisk rush. He morphed his hatchery
into a lair, and breifly started a spire. At the same time,
Fearlessguy
expanded just south of his main base to a little
mineral patch.
Fearlessguy
's engineering bay hovered over to
.Heeroyuy.
's main to get a peek at what he was making. The
mutalisk eggs are finished and they destroy the engineering bay. They then
attack
Fearlessguy
from the south, and they find the expansion.
They pummel the command center, but then a few marines scared them off,
lucky for Fearlessguy
.
The Expansion War
The title is right. Both contenders wanted expansions to gain the upper
hand.
Fearlessguy
rebuilt the minibase south of his main, and
made another one just north of his base on a small island.
.Heeroyuy.
expanded to the top-left corner, one west of his base,
and he moved to the mineral ring in the center of the map. That's
three expansions (for fools who can't count).
Fearlessguy
makes a few barracks below his grass-cliff on the
west side. He takes a m&m strike force and attacks the
.Heeroyuy.
expansion on the west of his base.
There is one sunken to guard against attackers, but the marines finished
it with no hassle.
.Heeroyuy.
, though, has the perfect tech to stop this. He wanted
to show the terrans his new toy- Lurkers!
He unloads two lurkers from an overlord, and grinds up the marines.

starts thinking about returning the favor. With an
overlord scout, he watches the expansion north of
Fearlessguy
. Scvs made a few bunkers and turrets, but
.Heeroyuy.
was gonna screw it up. He hatched some fresh hydralisk
and loaded them up in the Overlords. He dropped them on the expansion
and totally raped it.
Fearlessguy
takes some of his marines and a few tanks and
wipes the expansion clean again.
Two more hydralisk drops, and clean ups by the terrans, totalling in
three hydralisk drops. (too wasteful to show all three)
Fearlessguy
finally makes a sturdy defence that could hold
well against hydralisks.
Yes, Fearlessguy
had beefed up his northern expansion's defence,
but what about the one south of his main? He wasn't thinking about that.
.Heeroyuy.
was quick to expose this
mistake. He dropped more hydralisks and they began attacking the
expansion.
Fearlessguy
's marines arrived just on time and took the
hydralisks/lurkers by surprise. The hydralisks were erradicated, and
defence was added.
Fearlessguy
has a nice plump army good to go. He drops
them on the grass-cliff and attacks the zerg main frontally. The marines
are overwhelmed, even thought marines&medics SHOULD > hydralisks.
Fearlessguy
had just replaced his numbers and had them in
dropships. They were heading to the cliff, but
Fearlessguy
spotted a large quantity of overlords moving
west. He decided to pursure them. The
Overlords notice the
dropships and drop the load they were carrying-hydras.
Fearlessguy
's marines engaged
.Heeroyuy.'s hydralisk,
and the marines won.
.Heeroyuy. thinks
mutalisk and starts producing them. He has a good number of mutalisk, and
attacks
Fearlessguy
's south expansion.
There are about 19 mutalisks.
Fearlessguy
had just finished a few science vessels, and
also researched irridate. Perfect opportunity.
Fearlessguy
irridated the mutalisk, and their numbers
thinned out. A few marines finished the weakened mutalisk that remained.
30:00 mark
Fearlessguy
decides once again to destroy
.Heeroyuy.'s spawning
center.
Fearlessguy
unloads a bunch of marines with four siege
tanks to kill
.Heeroyuy..
The hydralisks come right at them. With help of the siege tanks, they
are dispatched! The marines move on to the actual hatcheries.
.Heeroyuy. spawns
zerglings desperately, but they are scrapped by the marines quickly.
.Heeroyuy.'s main
hive fell, and the game looks good for
Fearlessguy
.

Yes, .Heeroyuy.'s
main was gone, but he had a secret base at 9:00, and he was rich.
In no time, he had a expo as good as his main, and spawned hydralisks.
Fearlessguy
payed this expansion a visit after he saw it
on his comsat. The marines were outnumbered, and being
attacked from both sides, but
Fearlessguy
used defence matrix and crap and survived.
The marines moved in for the kill, then a few lurkers showed up and
ended the terran rampage.
Fearlessguy
drops with a few leftovers, and
starts more marines. He is starting to feel the lack of resources while
.Heeroyuy. is
rolling in money. He slowly sabotages
Fearlessguy
's main.
.Heeroyuy. drops
tons of lurkers and stuff on siege tanks that are
blowing up drones in the center ring. The siege tanks win, because they
have superior damage.
.Heeroyuy. has a
large drop of hydralisk again, and finishes off
Fearlessguy
's barracks after that.
Fearlessguy
moves to Six o' clock and begins mining again.
After a while, he has enough money to restart marine production.
A few barracks above the six o' clock ramp start making marines, and
Fearlessguy
sieges his tanks.
Then, .Heeroyuy.'s
hydralisk take out the command center at six o' clock.
The last blue building left is the barracks.
.Heeroyuy. sends dozens
and dozens of hydrliaks. The fight is bloody. The siege tanks and
marines actually win, but
Fearlessguy
sees its pointless to go on, and both players leave.
The victor is
.Heeroyuy.!
