to start out,i love playing zerg-zerg i can usually mass ling rush and power to a 3 o4 four hatch hydra rush on a 2 player map.
I started at top right. I send my OL down and buit up to about 9 drones and started a spawning pool.i sent a drone left in search of my opponent. I found him as my SP was finishing and he had just began his SP. I laid down creep colony outiside his hatch and began to morph it to it to a killer-colony (the name escapes me)- oh yeah, a sunken. despite my effort to put it out of his view, he saw ant to his detriment, attacked it with only 1 drone. after the sunken burst forth, he attacked it whole heartedly with his drones and soon morphed 3or 4 lings to assist. I took out maybe 3 or four drones but in retrospect should have send A few ling to support the sunken.
I had build up my drones and expanded to my natural (raised hill). I saw with my OL that he had a few lings. so i defended my base with 3 sunkens one on each side and median incase he attack from the long route. I put up an extractor and upgrtaded my lings' speed. I was teching to a hive so i could get adrenals fer my lings. i put up a hydra den also and began to up grade range followed by speed.i sent a taks force of 12 lings the far way around to scout for expansions or opportunities. I found at bottom left an undefended fledgeling base with 7 drones gathering. i attacked and he tried in desparation to lay 2 sunkens. I killed the first and then killed his hatch and left the remaining sunken to its own.
Meanwhile, he caught my main with my pants down with a formidable attack force of about 12 -15 hydras un-upgraded. He was able to kill everything at my main but left my SP. I guess beacuse he found my expansion which i supported with 2 sunkens and some lings. He attacked my expand, now my main, with wave after wave of hydras to no avail. Since it was elavated, i think my sunkens and lings got upoper hand.
So, surving this, i put down another hatch, and meanwhile, my adrenal glands upgrade was coming through. I made a couple of hydras for defense and more lings. I sent 24 lings to kill his lower left expansion that I knew he would try to rebuild since i left a sunken. this time, i left no traces of his base. I expanded to mid right for the gas i would need to pump out hydras. I supported this with 2 and 3 sunkens on each side and lings. i continued to harass with lings and hydras, killing an OL and defeating every attack. My opponent sent 6 lurker to try to kill my sunkens, but haveing plenty Of OL's and speed, I killed them with my sunkens hydras and lings with minimal loss.
So, i now had four hatches, a bugeoning economy and building up lings for a grand offensive. My opponent then informs me that he has to leave the game to go to work (the game was being played at 7 am). He tells me that I am really good to survive the attack to my main and rebound. we exchange icq's for undeniable rematch and he leaves as I begin attacking his base.
from my earliear battle/scouting at his base, I knew he had only 3 sunkens. when he left I had 30 -48 speed and adrenal lings. he had a few hydras and 3 sunkens and no expansions, although he did have 3 hatches at his main. It is my firm belief that had he waited, I would have murdered him and tonight he would sleep with the fishes.
It was an interesting game firstly cuase he is jewish and I am muslim, not that i have any thing against jewish people but there is a lot politically going on between muslims and jews globally. I thought to post this battle report cause i think the the other ladder reports, except the lurker one, stink. I have never let someone amass 100 marines 20 BC's and carriers. People who try to do this to me, i usually devastate in the first 15 min. they Can take that as a challenge. My icq is 17616522 and my email is bakhoor@hotmail.com - no spam or flames pls.
