Lifetime Rating for GhOsT~lizard: 5.4493 |   | Howdy ppl, here comes another quality BR from your neighborhood ghost:) After chatting with Tarranau in NWTR and telling him about US I decided to play another exciting terr/toss imblance game. My voluntary victim was Stimmed-Dragoon.
VITAL INFORMATION:
Map:LostTemple(yeah the imbalanced map where terrans have no chance of winning)
TerranCommander:Ghost~Lizard
ProtossExecutor:Stimmed-Dragoon
BATTLE COMMENCES:
I yet again start out with my super usual depot,rax,rax,depot,acad build. I scout on the 8th and he's in the last place I look, he got 3 zeals at the ramp but they were spread out so deon danced a bit and got the info but died in the process. He had 2 gates and an assimiltor coming....goons and DTs it is.
WHAT NO PROBE?:
Well my rines are standing at the top of the ramp waiting for that probe to come by so they can use it for target practice. It never did:( Instead a couple of zealots tried to get some scouting done but after 1 of them got smoked 2nd got scared and ran I wanted to chase him but he ran as fast as he could so I decided to spare him life....yeah yeah I know I'm a bit soft.
A VERY BAD BUNKER IN ATTEMPT:
After my marine went scouting and saw that our friend from aiur was expanding I was planning to lay down the smack. I sent a bunch of rine/bat/meds and an SCV down to his mineral only gimme. I started making a turret but a goon spotted it and he came in with goons/DTs my boys fought bravely taking more then half of the aliens with them but couldn't cut it at the end.
I RELAX AND GRAB MYSELF AN EXP:
Comsatting revealed that he had 4 cannons and goons guarding that gimme so any infantry attacks would be repelled rather easily. I decided to expand myself, a bunker/turret combo was quickly built at the choke of my gimme, I filled the bunker with 2bats and 2rines I also put about a dozen M&Ms by it. I made a CC at home and floated it down to the gimme, I made a refinery there before it landed, maynard transfered and made a scanner. My expansion became very efficient VERY fast.
EVIL TEMPLARS:
My expansion is doing great and working at full capacity, peons bringin' in the dough when a psi storm rains down on them. I comsat and see that he got 3 temps up there, he kills my peon line about 3 times before I get tanx in position to eliminate the threat.
EVIL REAVERS:
Just as I got my expansion back up and working he drops 2 reavers righ in behind my peon lines, I lock them down and annihalte them.
ANOTHER EXP PLZ:
I comsat and see that he got his mineral only gimme working, ok we can deal with that. I expand to the 12 o'clock start, make 2 bunkers, 2 rax and 2 facs there, maynard transfer and make a silo.
MAD NUKE FUN:
I got my nuke finished, great time to have some REAL fun. I cloak a ghosty and send him down to the mineral only gimme. I nuke but he sees the dot and moves most of his goons out, I kill all his probes,2 goons and severely damage his nexus...not bad but could've been better.
NO EXPANSIONS FOR YOU MR.PROTOSS:
I got vultures patrolling the map and comsat the islands on the regular bases, I see that he's starting up an exp at the upper left island. A dropship of M&Ms ends it before it ever began. I comsat the upper left island and see him expanding there too, no problem. The same dropship ends that exp as well.
THE FINAL PUSH...OR SO I THOUGHT:
Well having lotsa resources,infantry 3/3 and 3/0 tanx I decide to finish him off. I attack with 12+ tanx and a bunch of M&Ms he does some dwebbing action and at the end I kill off his HUGE force of goons/zeals. I push his mineral only and kill it when 10 carriers show up.....eeeeekkkkk.
CALL ME MR.LOCKDOWN:
At that point I taunt him by saying "dude ur dead I got lotsa ghosts with lockdown and goliaths". I think I pissed him off because he hits my main with all his carriers, I lock em all down and procede to eliminate them with my infantry. He says "I didn't realize i ran out of minearals" and conceides with a "gg".
LESSONS LEARNED:
-I'm Mr.Lockdown:)
-Ghosts are cool....10 locked down carriers aren't very intimidating
-Nukes are FUUUUUUNNN.
-Terran rock!!!
