Partner-Center right, Protoss
Enemies- Upperright and upperleft, Terran & Zerg
Beginning Game:
The game started out pretty usual. I got pool on 7 hatch on 8, extract on 9. My partner had about the same, pylon on 8, gateway on 9, assimilator 10. I figured the Zerg player would rush cause he was braggin about how he won 3 his last 3 matches on the 6ling rush. I figured wrong. I had about 12 lings when his drone strolls up to my base. Me and my partner had expanded quick, him taking the southeast expansion and me taking the southwest. He took a probe and found the Zerg rtying to get an expansion. He offensive cannoned it to death. The Zerg never tried to retake it. Then the Zerg opponent starts to lag. I don't think much of it. I got a hydra den right after expansion. I noticed my partner getting early reavers. As soon as his first reaver pops out he is ganged by about 10 marines and 6 hydras. I send lings to back him up but he had pretty much finished them off. After the attack he setup more cannons at his entrance.
Mid Game:
I had about 25 hydras so i decide to send 12 to attack the Zerg. I was met by a pack of 15 hydras. I lost the skirmish but stopped what could've been a disaster. The Zerg opponent continues to lag. We tell him to turn off portraits and music but he blames it on his partner. We stop arguing telling him he's right to get him to shutup. My partner takes the Bottom center expansion. I build Spire and Queens Nest. I tell my partner to start getting corsairs. After Queen Nest is finished I upgrade to hive. Red sends down a lone SCV to scout my base. Nothing much happens after the SCV. Me and my partner make plans to attack...
End Game:
I get 12 scourges and send them out scouting my enemies bases. I found the Zerg had just started an expansion. My scourges killed off his OL at the expansion and my partner sent in 2 d/t's to finish it off. The Zerg continues to lag horribly but not enough to drop him. Darn. I start to mutate my greater spire when the Zerg send down 5 OL's filled with hydras. Before he can unload them all my scourges finish off 3 of the 5 OL's. His 8 hydras are no match to my 20. My partner has 12 corsairs, and 9 carriers on the way. I get 12 guardians and 8 scourges. We meet in the middle. We decide to attack the Zerg since we though he knew was he was doing. When our guardian/corsair combo gets there we find 6 hydras, no colonies whatsoever, and 4 drones mining mineral patches. We slaughter the Zerg off quick. He complains that we used map hacks. My Partner's 9 carriers are ready so we meet in front of red's base. I get 6 more guardians and 18 more scourges thnking red would be a challenge. Red then sends 3 cloaked wraiths after my drones. The wraiths last about 15 seconds without even killing a drone. Me and my partner them send everything we have after him. We slaughtered him horribly. He had 8 ghosts in bunkers, 2 siege tanks, and 1 valkryie. All of his buildings were idle. Right before we kill him, he complains his partner wouldn't let him expand. Oh boy, the lowest excuse in the world there.
Lessons Learned-
The only thing worse than a newbie is a newbie that lags...
Excuses are like @$$holes, everyone's got one and they all stink.
Expanding is the key to winning.
