Well, I was determined to fight against some players today and immediately looked for a tvb game.
I found one soon enough, as that's the most popular type of game, and clicked in.
There were 2 people already and then came the 4th person and we were off!
Well, as I describe it, this game was a "hyper-fast" game. The setting was on "Fastest" and it was High Resources. Oy, I hate those type of games!
My peons zoomed in and out of the mine, rushed to erect blacksmith and barracks. Soon, as all the games that have High Res, my gold and lumber ran out. Luckily, I had forseen this and had already placed some peons in my gold mine.... but lumber was different :)
I made about 6 grunts and upgraded quickly to lvl 5.
Since my ally had, for some reason, stood there for about a minute, he was behind for now. He had about 2 spear towers and a few trolls and grunts.
A few minutes of regaining resources and my ally was ahead of me. I suck with orcs (wow, huh?) and hadn't even got a Stronghold when enemy zepplins and gnomes zipped into my base.
My ally had a Stronghold now and I felt so left out that I did nothing until I built a Stronghold finally.
But, this game was short.......
About 4 knights suddenly stampeded into my ally's base- and were shot off their mounts by arrows. But then a handful (that's 9) of ogre-magi bloodlusted their way in and knights streamed though.
My ally was dead, and we both knew it.
He thought it was his fault, but I said he was better then me. It was true.... plus, it was luck they had chose him first...... right?
The peon I had sent to go over to his base and stay there, I ordered him to hold position in a rut in those mushroom-like trees of Draenor.
I was scared now. I was alone- I sucked.... they had dragons. I whipped my peons out of foolish tree-chopping and ordered the 6 to build spear towers EVERYWHERE. They complied and quickly sped to the task.
One idiot got stuck behind the barrier of towers.... trapped behind it and in a square of trees.
Then, the 2 guys raided. I actually held 'em out! Their ogres fell down to the fierce, rapid shots of arrows from my towers and fell in a pool of blood.
Silence.
I was worried again.... silence was always a bad thing.
I continued my tireless tower construction and finally was finished. I stood there idly, helpplessly, waiting for my death to come.
My peon that was in the rut of mushrooms stood there too, waiting.
And then I heard the annoying sound of the ballista arrow crashing into my poor towers. They blew them out of existence and I finally went over and slashed them to wooden chips with my grunts.
Of course there we about 12 ogres waiting for me to do that and they OVERRUN me!!
And then the massacre happened.
All dragons, all knights, all ogres, slaughtered my troops- no, that happens later :)
They all died.
I was very weak and my towers blocked any path of trees and I mentally sobbed.
They had constructed a mage tower at my base's entrance and I got very worried. I sent all my tower-maker guys to kill it and was delighted to see the sight of a peasant making a tower and the undefended tower.
I killed the tower, the peasant, and ruined the mage tower.... nearly.
And now they came and whooped my ass.
The 2 sides streamed in and started hacking away at my towers mercilessly. I just watched and scrolled around my base- until I found the stuck peon.
Only 1 tree stood in his way and he charged it through with his mighty hatchet! He ran free out of the clutches of his evil kin! 2 other peons slipped out safely and all scattered.
My stuck-peon went over to a small patch of water and made a shipyard. I could see his pixel image shrug at my intentions, but I ordered the harbormaster in the shipyard to build 3 troll destroyers which my peon painted the title "Dragon Slayer" on them.
They proudly sailed into the middle of the big puddle and waited.
The enemy had stopped.
And they came to my shipyard and blizzarded it away. A Dragon Slayer sunk to the depths in glorious battle with 4 dragons.
The others blasted THEM out of the air and shot down the foul magi.
My poor peon perished under the rath of an ogre's fists and the ogre managed to escape, bleeding with horrid wounds.
Another stormy day Blizzard.
My otherDragon Slayers sunk to the depths as well.
Everything was dead silent.
My lone peon stood there. All of his troops were dead. All of his buildings razed.
He stood in his tree-rut and...
Here, I found his journal! Here's the ending!

I stood there, shivering from the harsh winds of the damned wind. It mercilessly whipped me and my ragged clothes. I had nothing to defend myself with except my rusted hatchet. I looked at it with dismay and held it down to my side. "Would you like to ally foul enemies?" I yelled at the darkness, as it was turning to a crisp night.
"Come and find me! Talk!" I barked. My voice was more courageous the my soul!
Suddenly, the shadow of a zepplin loomed over me and I looked at it with fear. "We will ally," the flier said. But then it flew away.
I trudged onward, in a path flanked by short, stubby and rotting trees. I gasped for breath. I looked around and then saw a distant form coming up to me at an alarming pace.
A knight! "Your ally has declared an alliance with me!" I shouted at the parading form.
No response.
I suddenly begain to be afraid and shivered from an unseen wind. The knight came close enough for me to touch his mount's nose. And then his huge warhammer came crashing down upon my head.
"Traitor!" I screamed.

Sorry for the blandness of some of this report :)
