I'm fine and you?
Great.
Battle 1
First of all, I was pretty excited my friend messaged me for a game after he retired from starcraft a while back, complaining how much time it wastes. He later admitted that it was because he was afraid he'ld miss starcraft too much when he leaves the country. He was sober after a little drink by the way. Well, we met at a private channel on Bnet and to tell the truth I've been playing on other servers for a long long time and haven't logged on to Bnet for months. Anyway we got this game started.
MAP: HUNTERS
Players: 4
(I'm going to make up names for this game not because I don't remember the names, but because I don't want my name to be shown. I'll just cover all to make it fair.)
Player -A-
blue Zergs (me) at 1 o'clock
Player -B-
white Protoss (my friend) at 6
Player -C-
yellow Protoss (a fag that's gonna appear in a rematch) at 11
Player -D-
red Random (no importance to the game whatsoever) at 12
-A- -B- vs -C- -D-
Zergs is not my best race so I tend to start the same way all the time, afraid I would mess my partner up if something went wrong because I goofed. I spawned 7 drones, then a pool, then a dron, then an overlord, then 3 pairs of zerglings. I sent my first overlord to 3, which is right below me and saw nothing there. I tried my luck and rushed my zerglings to 12 and bingo, down went -D-. -B- came in and helped finishing up the scrap from -D-'s base. So after i finished with -D-, I tried my luck again at 11. And woa, must be my lucky night and there I got -C-, and he died before he sputtered out some trash asking for a rematch. (A little credit for myself. I almost single-handedly killed both -D- and -C-. ^^)
This was what our conversation in the game was kind of like. -C- asked us to ally because his partner left the game but it was actually our rush that FORCED him to leave the game. I saw a citadel at -C-'s base and nothing else so I said, "You suck too, no pity for you." He snapped back that I rushed him and he would've kicked my ass if he used Zergs. Well tough, you didn't. So he kept trashing us with words while I trash him with zerglings. (Oh, don't think his base is full of shit and I needed a lot of zerglings to kill him. He had 4 pylons most and was "going for cloaked".) So he wanted a rematch and my friend thought he was annoying so agreed just to shut him up. He told us to meet him at GBR-1. Great. GBR --> British --> Boyzone --> gayass fag. I'm sorry but British people aren't exactly my favorite people. I told him the results would be the same.
Battle 2:
We agreed to play Hunters. Well, he agreed and went ahead to create a Blood Bath game. Don't worry, you're not the only one confused. I told him he agreed to create a Hunters map but he said "no, I didn't". So why he created a blood bath game? Remember a few lines back he said something about kicking my ass if he was Zergs? Yeah, this was what he meant. "RUSH!" ,he said. I chose Zergs (-A-), he chose Zergs (-C-), my partner cooly chose Random (-B-), the 4th guy chose something else. I apologize again but I always forget who the 4th guy is. He's not the same 4th guy on Battle 1. So let's give him a name called -E- shall we?
MAP: BLOOD BATH
Player -A-
brown Zergs (me) at top left
Player -B-
yellow Protoss (my friend) at top right
Player -C-
red Zergs (the same fag from Battle 1, asking for rematch) at bottom right
Player -E-
blue Protoss (a different player from Battle 1, and I feel the ultimate pity for him for having a dumb partner) at bottom left
-A- -B- vs -C- -E-
-C- sent his overlord to top and found my sober partner easily. I send my overlord down South and found blue and quickly sent it to middle. I kept thinking what the -C- said about kicking my ass if he was Zergs and screaming the word "RUSH!" I changed my rushing pattern a bit and went for a 6 drone rush. I think he went for something sooner, like a 5 drone or even 4 drone rush. "YOU'RE DEAD YELLOW!", the fag screamed. 3 pair of zerglings went to yellows half setup base. Heh, I couldn't help laughing a bit because he started attacking one of my -B-'s pylon. My slower zerglings were ready and killed his 6 zerglings leaving 3 more to spare due to his lame controlling and went straight for his base. Hatchery, 5 drones, a couple larvas. He died again. But not before he said "my partner didn't do shit". Well his partner cannoned up and both my partner and I felt pity towards -E-. -C- deserved every single beating.
So my partner and I won both battle and felt it was kind of fun shutting up -C-'s mouth. He logged off after the game. Can't stand the criticism? I don't know but it felt good.
My partner had to sleep so I also logged off Bnet and went on another server where my friends gather.
I returned to Bnet a day later and joined the channel nohunters to see what it's all about. I found out that a lot of people label bad players as "Hunters player" or "BGH players". From my experience, people who play non-Hunters map might also suck when they switch to Hunters map. My friends and I have been playing Hunters for most of our time and we continue to do so. I kept thinking, do we suck because we play Hunters?
Hell no! We've been in national tournaments with nonHunters, custom made, 4 player maps and we achieved huge success because we were able to adapt. Our group consists of city champions, runnerups in country out of more than 6000 players. I seriouslt don't think we suck beacuse we simply play Hunters.
Or do non-Hunters players put Hunters players down simply because they couldn't do as well in Hunters map?
