Intro of myself.
Ok....well you see, this is my first BR and...um...im kinda nervous...so everyone please teach me the ropes ok? well i would like to know where can i get gosu or l33tz replays of famous people playing WC3 so if you find a website, email me the website. A thousand thanks~!
Ok, let cut the crap and get on with the game. Since its my first time BRing, i will be BRing a crappy Starcraft game(i cant find replays of good games in WC3.), which was played quite some time ago. It consists of 2 players which you guys probably never even heard of, because they aren't so famous in BW world and they play in USwest. They are my friends, who are singaporeans.yes i am a singaporean as well ^_^ not those lame koreans...theres a difference!
Introduction
First off, i'll introduce the players.
CruCiFy. : He is an all-out zerg player and being my mentor, i learnt many things from him...when i was green. He taught me the 10/9 ext trick, 6pooling, and many other wonderful zergy stuff.=]
hideyoshi : i don't really know this guy so well, but judging from the game he played agaisnt CruCiFy., i don't think he is a very good terran player.
The Game : ZvT. Map : Lost Temple.
This is a Zerg VS Terran battle on Lost Temple.(Surprised, aren't you?)
The map is Lost Temple. It is a very famous map used for ladder games and 1v1 or 2v2 or FFa's. If you have never seen the map Lost Temple before, there are 2 reasons. 1) You are an idiot, 2) you are an idiot. I decided to add the minimap of Lost Temple...incase there are really such idiots. As you can see here, orange-aka hideyoshi, is in the 12 position while CruCiFy. is white in the 9 position. Btw, In WC3, this map is changed quite alittle, but it stills retain its "l33tn355"yes i have wc3 so what you want?
Anyways, we start off with CruCiFy. being white zerg, spawning his hatchery at the 9 position, and hideyoshi being orange terran, landing his command center at the 12 position. CruCiFy. started his day by commanding his 4 drones to mine and in the meanwhile growing another drone and sending his overlord to scout the 6 main first. hideyoshi ordered his SCV's to mine while cloning them.
The Build Orders
CruCiFy.'s build order : 9 overlord, 10/9 ext trick, 12 hatch at natural, 12 spawning pool, 14 extractor@main, 16 two creep colony@nat, 18 lair.
hideyoshi's build order : wall-in(10depot,10rax,11depot), 18 bunk@wall-in, 19 refinery, 22 academy, 23 factory.
First Blood!
Why do i feel so lame when i said that line above?
First blood started when CruCiFy. sent a drone to scout the 12 main after finding out that the 6 main is empty. hideyoshi has only begun his 2nd depot and luckily, he was in time to prevent CruCiFy.'s drone from entering his base.
Meanwhile, CruCiFy. started a hatchery at his natural. His drone started attack the completed depot and after being chased by the scv, he hid in the fog of war and came back up again, pitting his skills agasint the scv. Even though he microed his ass off, it didn't seem to help him.
As you can see, the drone lost to the SCV. What a battle. Little did hideyoshi know that CruCiFy. would be taking revenge for the poor drone who risked his life to find out information.
CruCiFy. starts a spawning pool and when his spawning pool is halfway to completion, he starts an extractor. His Hatchery at the natural is near completion. hideyoshi in the meanwhile kept on pumping scvs, as well as building a bunk at his wall and 3 marines. He trained the 4th marine later in the game. he also sent the injured Scv out to scout the 3 main. On recieving the info that it is empty, hideyoshi decided to leave the Scv there for expansion purposes.
CruCiFy.'s Hatchery and Spawning pool completes at the same time and he maynards some of his drones to his expansion. hideyoshi, on the other hand, starts a refinery.
hideyoshi starts an academy at his base while CruCiFy. starts 2 creep colonies at his natural, and later chaning them to sunkens. He also keeps up his drone production.
Early Game
CruCiFy.'s overlord was wandering into the 12 main and hideyoshi immeditely noticed the big white dot in his orange color base. He immeditely unloaded his ~3 marines from his bunkers and they chased the overlord out of their base but failed to destroy the floating spy, leaving the overlord with ~8 lucky life. ^_^
While CruCiFy's overlord was under attack, he upgraded his hatchery to a lair. At the same time, hideyoshi made a factory in his base.
hideyoshi trained his 4th marine when his academy was done and built another factory. CruCiFy. evolved a hatchery at his choke point and made another creep colony at his natural. Soon after, his lair upgrade completed.
Upon completion, hideyoshi lifted his factory off to reposition it and took this chance to expand at the 3 main position with the injured Scv.
Break Time.
 Lets recap.
CruCiFy. has one expansion and one main, upgrades for all are 0-0-0 for all kinds of units.
hideyoshi currently has one main and one expansion IN THE MAKING. His upgrades stands at 0-0 for all kinds of units.

As soon as hideyoshi's factory lands, it beings to build a machine shop.hideyoshi also beings to build an armory. Meanwhile, at almost the same timming, CruCiFy. beings to build a spire and morphs his 3rd sunken colony. hideyoshi uses his extra marine to tour his base in search of possibilities of offensive hatches/sunkens.
Back at CruCiFy.'s natural expansion, he begins yet ANOTHER creep colony as well as an extractor. The moment hideyoshi's machine shop add-on is done, he begins to build a seige tank and researches seige mode. hideyoshi adds the machine shop to his factory as well as making two depots. The moment hideyoshi has his CC up and running, he had a comsat station ready in his main cc. Using his newly aqquired "powers", he scanned the 9 main. CruCiFy.'s spire was up and he had a total of two hatcheries and one lair now.
MID-GAME!
FINALLY! 2 more section to go!
Recap : I know that this is confusing so i'll go through it again slowly.
CruCiFy. : 1 main, 1 expansion.
hideyoshi : 1 main, 1 new expansion.
Upgrades for both players : 0-0-00-0-0-0-0
Units CruCiFy. own : Drones, overlords.
Units hideyoshi own : Scvs, Marines, seige tank.
Tech buildings CruCiFy. own : spawning pool, lair and spire.
Tech buildings hideyoshi own : Barracks, academy, factory and armory.
CruCiFy. builds a hydralisk den and starts to make...wait for it...yup...you guessed it...MUTALISK! He also upgrades the metabolic movement(increase zerglings speed). hideyoshi now has 2 tanks and 1 in the making. He also finally starts to use his expansion at the 3 main.
Finally, CruCiFy.'s mutalisk pops out of their eggs and fly towards the vacant north-west island expansion. He also upgrades hydralisk movement and continues building more mutalisks.
Poor hideyoshi does not know what awaits him. Four mutalisk rush for the peon line and hideyoshi immeditely unloads his bunker and rushes his marines to attack the intruders while removing ALL his miners from duty. he also starts a starport at the time of the attack.=/
During the heat of the battle, CruCiFy. macros well and made zerglings out of his ~2 hatches and the 1 lair is used for overlords. The mutalisk take potshots at the command center untill it is down to 966 life and have to leave because 5 marines were shooting at them. One mutalisk fell to gauss fire while the other 3 scrambled to meet up with their big brothers.
hideyoshi took the time to build a eBay at his expansion.
Break Time II
Ok, lets have a mini-map update.MINI ME! DR.EVIL!*ahem*
The white dot at the 6 main is a drone and all the other white dots are overlords. If you noticed, hideyoshi has not taken his natural expansion yet...while CruCiFy. is going for map control. We all know that if zerg map control=GG.
CruCiFy. starts another hatchery and brings one overlord to scout the 3 main. He also gets the overlord movement upgrade from his lair. hideyoshi on the other hand orders 1 goliath in both the factory.
 CruCiFy.'s floating overlord spots the 3 main expansion and he rallys his troops together, while expanding to the 6 main.
 He sends a small army to the expansion and raze it without much trouble. hideyoshi saw what happened and immeditely lifted off his command center and eBay, leaving the festish lings to attack the refinery. The command center did not manage to escape, but instead got blown up into small little bits of metal scarps.
hideyoshi has 4 goliaths by now and 2 dropships. A scouting overlord gets blasted out of the air by goliath missle fire and bunker rifle fire. He orders 2 more goliath from his 2 factory. CruCiFy. now has 2 evolution chambers, 1 spire, 4 hactchery and 1 lair. He sends a drone to the 6 natural expansion and camps it there.
Break Time 3
CruCiFy. has 2 expansion running, 1 main running, while hideyoshi has NO expansion, 1 main running.
The upgrades currently stand at : for CruCiFy., and : for hideyoshi.
CruCiFy. has mutas and lings, camping near hideyoshi's base.
hideyoshi had only this few units to protect himself.
CruCiFy.'s zerglings venture too close to hideyoshi's seige tank near the cliff and gets shot down by it.
The zerglings rush to attack the tank, but by doing so, they rushed to the wall-in and get killed by tanks. Meanwhile, CruCiFy. expands to his mineral only. Hmm...i wonder what is he up to...
hideyoshi loads up 4 goliath + 2 seige into his 2 dropship and sends it towards CruCiFy.'s natural expansion, after scanning it with his "powers".
Upon reciving the "our base is under attack" comment, CruCiFy. immeditely sends his ~2 control group of mutalisk to squelch the threat. Seeing that the battle is lost, hideyoshi quickly orders 6 goliath from his 2 factories and one note: HE HAS NOT EXPANDED YET!
hideyoshi finally gets the smart ass idea of getting a valkyrie and orders one in his starport, while CruCiFy. gets more lings and mutalisk and rally's them outside of hideyoshi's base, camping. He also gets the important hive upgrade.
hideyoshi gets his SINGLE valkyrie and attacks the near ~3 control group of mutalisk and...well...you can guess the results. see for yourselves. He orders another valkyrie right after his SINGLE valkyrie died.
 The minimap on the right shows the current update of what the heck is happening. The 2 patches of white right outside hideyoshi's base are Zerg~lings(hehe he's my idol ^_^ must mention him in my br, Drefsab your 2nd in my list due to your inactivity.) and mutalisks. He also expanded to the 6 mineral only, as you can see in the minimap.
CruCiFy. gets an ultralisk cavern. Things look like he is going for ultra-lings... that explains the map control, as well as the sudden upgrades for melee and armor. He also gets the very important adrenaline glands upgrade(zergling attack speed upgrade.) hideyoshi's second valkyrie appears and he sends it out to scout for the ~3 control group of mutalisk, obviously trying to repeat his same mistake he did last time. He finds the large group of mutalisk not long after scouting, and gets burtally raped by the big groups of mutalisk. CruCiFy. stops his production of mutalisk and instead turns his production to Zerg~lings! (he's my idol, must mention him twice.)
CruCiFy.'s ultralisk cavern is half complete when he sends a drone to the 3 main, obviously getting the map control. hideyoshi queued 1 valkyrie in his starport and 2 goliath in both factories. hideyoshi sends an empty dropship to the 3 main only to recieve the information that there is a drone waiting. hideyoshi sends YET ANOTHER lone valkyrie to search for the big bullies. CruCiFy. gets the ultralisk speed upgrade while starting the production of ultralisk. The valkyrie flies away as soon as it sees the large group and tries to lure the group to the range of the goliath but CruCiFy. was not asleep at that time and quickly turns his mutalisk back. hideyoshi seems to be only producing units but not expanding or attacking... turtle terran =D He places 2 more valkyries in his starport and while he did that, CruCiFy. attacked his dropship and it couldn't attack the mutalisk due to the fact that the terran government is on a tight budget, and didn't equip the dropship with any weapons.
CruCiFy.'s ultralisk pops out of their egg after a long time with a 1-1 upgrade ^^. CruCiFy. was not the only one to get new units however, as hideyoshi's single brand new valkyrie floats out of the starport. Finally we can see a pair..---> Both players kept on producing units...(CruCiFy. continued his Ultra-ling while hideyoshi started marine production.) untill several minutes later when CruCiFy. rallied his Zerg~lings too close to tank range that they got shot and... history is repeated, just that this time is bigger, funnier and sillier.
Break Time 4
lol its the 4th break time...nevermind. Before i continue to rattle on the fierce battles ahead, keep in mind that you should not strain your eyes for more than 45 mins looking at the computer. Turn your attention away from the computer now and look outside at the senery, for 3-5 minutes.(if theres any.) ok now, lets get it with the update.
 As you can see on the minimap to the left, that big patch of white near north of the temple is all of CruCiFy.'s units. They consist of Ultralisk, Zerg~lings and mutalisk. Note that CruCiFy. is aimming for map control while hideyoshi has not even expanded. The elapsed time is currently 17.48 and a skirmish is about to happen.
CruCiFy. upgrades stand at : 1-1 for melee and armor on land, 0-0 for air. hideyoshi has not upgraded anything at all yet.
CruCiFy. sends that large amount of units to attack hideyoshi's base but guess what... ALL of CruCiFy.'s units died to that attack. I asked him what happened in that attack and he told me this :
Apparently it seems like he "accidently" allied hideyoshi and all of CruCiFy.'s died to that attack. Even though all his units died, CruCiFy. had much higher advantage in the economy than hideyoshi and with hatcheries all around the map, he easily rebuilt his army.
With more units than ever, CruCiFy. sent his army to attack yet again, but again, he repeated his mistake and forgot to off the ally button and in the end, all of his units die but the bunker and 2 supply depot hideyoshi had in his choke as defence exploded to splash fire by the tanks that were attacking the ultralisk standing near the bunker.
Because of the broken wall, hideyoshi sent out all his units out of his base, because his main has dried out and he needed to expand. He didnt know that CruCiFy. was camping outside his base and because he macroed well, CruCiFy. had a few ultra-ling combo waiting outside hideyoshi's base. Just in time, CruCiFy. had turned off the allied button and the moment the ultralisk got attacked by the goliaths, they retaliated.
hideyoshi took advantage of the fact the he is on the cliff and seiged (4!!!) his seige tanks on top and shot at the ultralisk. Even the scv's came out to help but their power was not strong enough but they were good distraction ^_^ The ultralisk eventually died to tank fire.
Several seconds later, many Zerg~lings and ultralisk were rallied right north-east of the temple, waiting for an assault on hideyoshi.
Late Game
After ordering extra units, CruCiFy. sent his ~7 4/2 ultralisk
and afew Zerg~lings to attack. hideyoshi did not have both time and money to build more units and 4 seige tanks on the cliff cannot win 7 4/2 ultralisk running towards it. In short, the seige tanks were blasted into pieces by the claws of the Zerg~lings.
After the seige tanks were down, the whole base fell to Zerg~lings and Ultralisk!

Lessons learned : Always expand, Always SCOUT, always upgrade your weapon and....always expand!
